    摘要: A method for operating an internal combustion engine and a corresponding device are described in which a combustion of a fuel in a fuel-air mixture introduced into a cylinder occurs in at least one cylinder. At least one adjusting device is used to influence at least one physical process, which modifies the distribution of the constituents and/or the overall composition of the fuel-air mixture in the at least one cylinder. If knock occurs, a knock control is used to gradually retard an ignition angle in the at least one cylinder from a fundamental ignition angle by an adjustment angle. When the adjustment of the at least one adjusting device exceeds a specifiable first threshold and/or the change in the at least one physical process exceeds a specifiable second threshold, the adjustment angle is rapidly reduced by increments, the more rapid reduction occurring with a larger increment and/or with a higher frequency of increments.

    摘要: An engine control system executes given control tasks, for example, at a 30° angular interval of an engine crank shaft. If a failure of a crank sensor has occurred, it becomes impossible to determine the 30° angular interval of the crank shaft. In this case, the engine control system works to calculate one-third of an interval (e.g., a 90° crank angle) between consecutive inputs of cam angular position signals to define a dummy 30° crank angle as a trigger for initiating the control tasks. If the cam angular position signal is inputted before the number of times the control tasks should be executed, in sequence, at an interval of the dummy 30° crank angle is not yet reached, each of the control tasks is executed immediately the same number of times as that the control task has not yet been executed at the dummy 30° crank angle time interval.

A load-related engine speed fluctuation is computed when the engine is rotated with ignition and combustion. The inertia-related engine speed fluctuation is indicative of an inertia moment that is variable in accordance with equipments connected with the engine. The load-related engine speed fluctuation is indicative of an engine load. When estimating the engine load, the inertia-related engine speed fluctuation is considered for removing an influence of the inertia moment on the engine load. The estimated engine load is used for controlling the engine. It is possible to consider the inertia moment into an engine control.

    摘要: A method for regulating knocking in an internal combustion engine, particularly of a motor vehicle, has the following steps: determining a knocking combustion for a calculated first base ignition angle in one or more cylinders of the internal combustion engine originated from a previous operating condition; and setting a new, second base ignition angle taking into account the existing operating condition. A query concerning the relative sizes of a setpoint ignition angle for efficiency reduction and the first base ignition angle is provided for setting the second base ignition angle to allow for knocking regulation which is favorable to the operation. If the setpoint ignition angle is smaller than the base ignition angle, an ignition angle retardation is performed with an adjustment value that must be adjusted, and which is given by the sum of a previously determined, constant retardation value and an adjusted, variable retardation value.

    摘要: The decision period in which an output of a knock sensor is extracted is set by a setting unit in response to an output of a crank angle sensor. The set decision period is stored in a storing unit and is changed by a changing unit 14 to contain the output of the knocking in response to an output of a processing circuit. In addition, the processing circuit corrects the decision period stored in the storing unit to reduce a difference between the changed decision period and the decision period stored in the storing unit. According to this, since the decision period can be corrected to contain the sensed output of the knocking in response to the variation of the knocking occurring timing, the knocking sensing precision can be improved.
