    摘要: An electrophotographic lithographic printing plate precursor, in which the effect by the hydrophilic property of non-image areas is further improved, and which is stable during storage even under very severe conditions and capable of readily realizing the hydrophilic property in a short time during processing of rendering hydrophilic is provided, which utilizes an electrophotographic photoreceptor comprising a conductive support having provided thereon at least one photoconductive layer containing photoconductive zinc oxide and a binder resin, wherein said binder resin comprises at least one resin containing at least one polymeric component having at least one of formyl group and functional groups represented by the following General Formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 each represent, same or different, hydrocarbon groups or R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are organic residual radicals which are combined with each other to form a ring.

    摘要: A lithographic printing plate precursor having a good press life with a practical energy amount, which can be on-press developed without passing through a development processing step after recording an image by a laser of emitting an infrared ray, is provided, which is a lithographic printing plate precursor capable of performing a development and printing by loading on a printing press after imagewise exposure and supplying an oily ink and an aqueous component, the lithographic printing plate precursor comprising a support and an image recording layer, wherein the image recording layer comprises (A) a polymerization initiator, (B) a polymerizable monomer, (C) a binder polymer, and (D) a crosslinked resin particle having a reactive group or (F) a microcapsule containing a polymerizable monomer in the capsule wall, and the image recording layer is imagewise polymerization-curable upon irradiation of actinic ray.

    摘要: A method for preparation of a waterless lithographic printing plate by an electrophotographic process comprising forming a non-fixing toner image by an electrophotographic process using a liquid developer on a surface of an electrophotographic light-sensitive element comprising an electrically conductive support having provided thereon a photoconductive layer, transferring the toner image onto a support for lithographic printing plate, providing a non-tacky resin layer having adhesion to a surface of the support for lithographic printing plate larger than adhesion between the toner image and the surface of the support for lithographic printing plate on the whole surface of the support for lithographic printing plate bearing the toner image, and removing the non-tacky resin layer provided on the toner image. The method is suitable for a scanning exposure system using a laser beam of a low power, and simply and rapidly provides a lithographic printing plate excellent in image qualities and printing durability.

The material includes (a) a water-insoluble, aqueous alkaline solution-soluble polymer compound, (b) a light-heat converting agent, and (c) a phenol including a partial structure represented by the following formula (I). Solubility of the material in an aqueous alkaline solution is increased upon heating. In the formula (I), X represents a monovalent terminal group having 2 or more carbon atoms or a linking group of —CY1Y2— or —CHY1— in which Y1 and Y2 each represent a monovalent terminal group having 1 or more carbon atoms, W represents a monovalent terminal group, and n represents an integer from 1 to 4.
