    摘要： Disclosed is a novel diazo resin which has at least one repeating unit represented by the following general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.2 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or an alkoxy group, a hydroxyl group, a carboxy ester group or a carboxyl group: R.sup.1 represents a carboxyl group or a group having at least one carboxyl group; R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 each represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group or an alkoxy group; X.sup.31 represents an anion; and Y represents --NH--, --O-- or --S--. The diazo resin is useful for a presensitized plate for use in making a lithographic printing plate when it is incorporated into a light-sensitive layer or an underlayer on a substrate. According to the present invention, a presensitized plate using the diazo resin has excellent properties such as high sensitivity, good adhesion between the substrate and the light-sensitive layer and can thus provide a lithographic printing plate having a high printing durability and free of background contamination.

    摘要： A desensitizing gum for a lithographic printing plate and a gumming up process thereof are disclosed. The gum is comprised of water having dispersed therein 5 to 35 wt %, based on the total weight of the gum, of a film-forming, water-soluble compound selected from the group consisting of enzyme-decomposed dextrine and enzyme-decomposed etherified dextrine. The desensitizing gum exerts a desensitizing action on non-image areas of a lithographic printing plate and does not cause image blinding of image areas even when the plate is stored for a long period of time.

    摘要： A system for controlling a manufacturing system including a plurality of working units is described. Each working unit has an operational tool and a unit controller which controls the corresponding tool. Each unit controller includes a storage device for storing data about the status of multiple working units including its own. A data control device is connected to the storage device and the remainder of the unit controllers. The data control device renews unit status data stored in the storage device with the newest data about the status of the working units including that of its own working unit. Thus, all the unit controllers always have the newest unit status data in common. Each unit controller includes a drive control device for controlling the corresponding tool based on the unit status data stored in the storage device.

    摘要： A presensitized plate comprises a substrate having a hydrophilic surface provided thereon with a light-sensitive layer containing an alkaline water-soluble or swellable photocrosslinkable polymer carrying photodimerizable unsaturated double bonds and an optional intermediate layer between the substrate and the light-sensitive layer wherein the light-sensitive layer and/or the intermediate layer contain a co-polycondensed diazo resin having, as the structural units, those derived from an aromatic compound having at least one carboxyl group and an aromatic diazonium compound, for instance 4-diazodiphenylamine salt. The light-sensitive layer and/or the intermediate layer of the plate exhibit high adhesion to the substrate or the like while maintaining high sensitivity and excellent quality thereof and the plate can be developed with an alkaline water to provide lithographic printing plates having excellent quality such as printing durability.

    摘要： The present invention relates to a porous membrane including cellulose fibers, wherein the cellulose fibers are obtained from a mixture of more than 50% by weight of (1) first raw material cellulose fibers having a surface area determined by congo red coloring of 250 m2/g or more and 500 m2/g or less; and less than 50% by weight of (2) second raw material cellulose fibers having a surface area determined by congo red coloring of 150 m2/g or more and less than 250 m2/g. The porous membrane according to the present invention can provide a separator for electrochemical devices with superior properties, at a reasonable cost.
