    Abstract: An apparatus for planar lighting configurable with light emitting devices is disclosed. The apparatus for planar lighting includes a plurality of light sources arranged on a circuit board; a reflective layer disposed on the circuit board; a transmission regulation layer disposed on the reflective layer and provided with a hole pattern allowing light to be transmitted therethrough, wherein a size of the hole disposed proximate to the light source is smaller than a size of the hole disposed between adjacent two light sources; a spacer disposed between the reflective layer and the transmission regulation layer such that the spacer maintains a distance between the reflective layer and the transmission regulation layer, wherein the spacer comprises at least one protrusion formed by bending a plate member; and an optical sheet disposed on the transmission regulation layer.
