Abstract: A rotary compressor is provided that may include a casing having an oil storage space; a cylinder; a main bearing and a sub bearing; a rotary shaft; a roller having a vane slot and a back pressure chamber; and at least one vane. An oil supply hole that communicates the back pressure chamber with the oil storage space may pass through the main bearing or the sub bearing, or through the roller. Accordingly, as high-pressure oil is supplied directly to a rear end surface of the vane, it is possible to increase efficiency of the compressor by increasing a back pressure on the vane and suppressing a delay in starting the compressor, and it is also possible to reduce collision noise and wear in the vane and the cylinder by suppressing vibration of the vane.

Abstract: A vane rotary compressor may include a main bearing and a sub bearing provided with a plurality of back pressure pockets each having a different pressure formed on a surface facing the cylinder, a rotational shaft radially supported by the main bearing and the sub bearing, a roller provided with a back pressure chamber that communicates with the plurality of back pressure pockets and having a plurality of vanes configured to divide a compression space into a plurality of compression chambers. At least one of the main bearing or the sub bearing is provided with an oil supply passage that communicates with a back pressure pocket having a relatively low pressure among the plurality of back pressure pockets. Accordingly, oil may be smoothly supplied to a back pressure pocket having a low pressure.

Abstract: A rotary compressor provided that may include a casing, a cylinder, a roller, and at least one vane slidably inserted into the roller, and the roller may have at least one bypass passage through which spaces on both sides of a contact point based on a rotational direction of the roller communicate with each other. Through the at least one bypass passage, residual refrigerant remaining in a compression space even after a discharge stroke may be bypassed to a suction chamber, thereby minimizing the refrigerant remaining in the compression space after the discharge stroke. Also, loss due to overcompression in a residual space may be suppressed or prevented while reducing suction loss due to the introduction of overcompressed high-pressure refrigerant by the bypassing the refrigerant in the residual space toward a suction side in advance.

Abstract: A rotary compressor may include an outflow passage through which refrigerant flows out of a compression space. The outflow passage may include at least one first outflow guide portion disposed in a main bearing or a sub bearing, at least one second outflow guide portion formed through between both axial ends of a roller, and at least one third outflow guide portion disposed in a bearing opposite to the bearing with the at least one first outflow guide portion based on the roller. This may minimize an amount of refrigerant remaining in the compression space. A pressure difference on a front of a vane may also be eliminated, which may suppress or prevent vane jumping. As the outflow passage is periodically opened, refrigerant leakage may be suppressed or prevented during a compression stroke.

Abstract: A vane rotary compressor includes a roller rotatably supported in a cylinder and including a plurality of vane slots formed along a circumferential direction with back pressure chambers formed at one end of each of the vane slots. A plurality of vanes are slidably supported in the vane slots protruding toward an inner circumferential surface of the cylinder. A compression space formed by the vanes between the roller and the cylinder includes an inlet port and an outlet port formed at both sides of a contact point between the roller and the cylinder. A vane positioned between the inlet port and the outlet port is configured such that a front gap between a front surface of the vane and the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder is smaller than a rear gap between a rear surface of the vane and an inner surface of the back pressure chamber.

Abstract: A rotary compressor is provided that may include a cylinder having an inner peripheral surface defined in an annular shape to define a compression space, and provided with a suction port configured to communicate with the compression space and through which refrigerant is suctioned into the compression space; a roller rotatably provided in the compression space of the cylinder, and having a plurality of vane slots that provides a back pressure at one side thereinside and that is provided at a predetermined interval along an outer peripheral surface of the roller; and a plurality of vanes slidably inserted into the plurality of vane slots, respectively, and configured to rotate together with the roller, front end surfaces of which come into contact with the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder due to the back pressure to partition the compression space into a plurality of compression chambers. High-pressure refrigerant may be accommodated between one of the plurality of vanes and the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder.
