Abstract: A method for controlling uplink transmissions on discontinuous reception (DRX) operation, by a wireless device, in a wireless communication system, the method includes configuring a channel quality indicator (CQI) masking which indicates that channel state information is to be reported on a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) while an onDurationTimer is running; determining, at a first subframe prior to a second subframe, whether or not the onDurationTimer is to be running at the second subframe according to whether or not a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) is received at the first subframe; and controlling the uplink transmissions so as not to report the channel state information on the PUCCH at the second subframe if the onDurationTimer is determined, at the first subframe, to be not running at the second subframe, wherein the channel state information includes at least one of a CQI, a precoding matrix index (PMI).

Abstract: A method and apparatus for performing a random access procedure in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) determines whether transmission of a first random access (RA) preamble to a first node and transmission of a second RA preamble to a second node overlap each other at a specific time duration. If it is determined that the transmission of the first RA preamble and the transmission of the second RA preamble overlap each other, the UE determines whether both the transmission of the first RA preamble and the transmission of the second RA preamble are available at the specific time duration based on an uplink power. If not available, the UE transmits the first RA preamble only at the specific time duration.

Abstract: Provided in one aspect is a method for handling a frequency priority performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system. The method comprises: receiving minimum priority application request information from a network; and handling a frequency priority for cell reselection on the basis of the minimum priority application request information and the supporting characteristics of the terminal. The handling of the frequency priority is a variable application of the frequency priority for the cell reselection according to the contents of the minimum priority application request information and the supporting characteristics of the terminal.
