Abstract:
One disclosure of the present specification provides a method for supporting an internet protocol security (IPsec). The method may be performed by a mobility management entity (MME) and comprise: receiving a tracking area update (TAU) request message from a user equipment (UE); determining whether to activate an encryption option of IPsec; and transmitting a TAU accept message including IPsec related information generated based on the determination.
Abstract:
A user equipment (UE) may receive or transmit a protocol data unit (PDU). The PDU includes a service data unit (SDU) type field. The SDU type field may be set to a value indicating a vehicle-to-everything (V2X) type. When the SDU type field is set to a value indicating a V2X type, the PDU may include an additional field indicating an application or protocol type for data of an SDU in the PDU.
Abstract:
Provided method includes receiving, from the source AN, a handover request requesting a handover of an AN of the user equipment, wherein the user equipment is configured with a per node level tunnel for connection to a target user plane function node, and wherein the per node level tunnel is a common connection tunnel which is generated in the node unit for all traffics between the target AN and the target user plane function node, determining whether a service provision through the per node level tunnel is possible, determining whether generation of a new per node level tunnel for the user equipment is necessary when it is determined that service provision is impossible, and generating the new per node level tunnel for the user equipment based on a result of the determination or changing the tunnel model of the user equipment to a different tunnel model.

Abstract:
Provided is a method for making it impossible to track a vehicle performing vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication through a network. The network may allocate the same IP address to all UEs performing V2X communication. Since the UEs performing V2X communication transmit data using the same IP address, an application server cannot track a vehicle transmitting corresponding data.
Abstract:
A method and device for a discovery operation of User Equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system are provided. The method in which a network node supports a discovery operation of a UE includes: receiving, by a network node within a Home Public Land Mobile Network (HPLMN) of the UE, a Discovery Request message from the UE, wherein the Discovery Request message includes a candidate frequency list including an available plurality of carrier frequencies for announcing by the UE and an announcing PLMN ID including a PLMN Identifier (ID) of each of the carrier frequencies included in the candidate frequency list; and transmitting, by the network node within the HPLMN, a Discovery Response message to the UE, wherein the Discovery Response message includes carrier frequency information that indicates a carrier frequency selected for announcing by the UE among the carrier frequencies included in the candidate frequency list.
Abstract:
A method for forwarding a non-access stratum (NAS) message of a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method includes sending an uplink (UL) NAS message including a session management (SM) message to an access and mobility management function (AMF), and receiving, from the AMF, an indication message indicating that the SM message is unroutable, wherein indication information indicating that the SM message is unroutable is delivered to a SM sublayer of the UE.
Abstract:
According to an aspect of the present invention, a method for transporting a non-access stratum (NAS) message of an access and mobility management function (AMF) in a wireless communication system may include: receiving, from a user equipment (UE), an uplink (UL) NAS message including a session management (SM) message for a request related to a protocol data unit (PDU) session; transporting, to a predetermined second Session Management Function (SMF), the SM message if it is determined that it is impossible to route the SM message to a first SMF as a transport target of the SM message; receiving, from the second SMF, an SM rejection message for the SM message; and transmitting, to the UE, a downlink (DL) NAS message including the SM rejection message.
Abstract:
One embodiment of the present invention provides a method by which a network node performs an operation related to a vehicle to everything (V2X) message transmission to a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, the method comprising the steps of: allowing the network node to receive a notify broadcast area message; allowing the network node to receive a V2X message after receiving the notify broadcast area message; and allowing the network node to determine a first eNB which will transmit the V2X message to the UE, on the basis of the notify broadcast area message, without performing session update request procedures.
Abstract:
One disclosure of the present specification provides a method for a control plane (CP) function entity creating a session, the CP function entity being in charge of managing a session in a next-generation mobile communication network. The method may comprise the steps of: receiving a connectivity request message from a terminal if the creation of a session is not included in a process by which the terminal attaches to a core network of the next-generation mobile communication; on the basis of information on the type of service to be provided to the terminal, deciding to create, for the terminal, a session that needs to be always-on, or in other words, always-connected; and transmitting, to the terminal, a connectivity completion message including information indicating the session that needs to be always-on, or in other words, always-connected.
