    Abstract: A scroll compressor, and more particularly, to a scroll compressor including a communication groove which may decrease discharge resistance is provided. The scroll compressor may include a fixed scroll having a fixed end plate and a fixed wrap, and an orbiting scroll configured to perform an orbiting movement about the fixed scroll and having an orbiting end plate and an orbiting wrap. A communication groove in the form of a recessed groove may be formed in an inner surface of the orbiting end plate, and a refrigerant may flow through the communication groove according to a state in which the fixed wrap overlaps the communication groove such that there is an effect in that an opening efficiency of a discharge hole is improved at an initial stage of discharge.

    Abstract: A scroll compressor is provided that may include a first wrap, and a second wrap engaged with the first wrap and coupled to be eccentric to a center of rotation of a rotational shaft to form a compression chamber, moving toward a central portion, together with the first wrap while performing an orbiting motion with respect to the first wrap. A height of at least one of the first wrap or the second wrap may be formed to have at least two inclination machining amounts which decrease toward the central portion, and the inclination machining amount of the central portion may be larger than the inclination machining amount of an edge portion or a wrap rigidity at a specific section, thereby preventing frictional loss or abrasion of the wrap and breakage of the wrap.

    Abstract: A scroll compressor includes a casing, a main frame, a rotating shaft, an orbiting scroll, a fixed scroll configured to engage the orbiting scroll to form a compression chamber, and an Oldham ring slidably coupled to the orbiting scroll to prevent rotation of the orbiting scroll. The Oldham ring includes: a ring body provided between the main frame and the orbiting scroll to be supported in an axial direction of the rotating shaft, and a key portion extending in the axial direction from the ring body and slidably inserted into a key accommodating portion provided in the orbiting scroll, the main frame, or the fixed scroll. The ring body or the key portion includes an oil supply passage for guiding oil accumulated in a member on which the ring body is supported to between the key portion and the key accommodating portion.

    Abstract: A scroll compressor according to the present disclosure includes a fixed scroll, an orbiting scroll forming first and compression chambers with the fixed scroll, first and second compression chamber oil supply holes formed through the orbiting scroll to communicate with the first compression chamber and the second compression chamber, respectively, wherein when a section in which the first compression chamber oil supply hole is opened toward the first compression chamber is a first oil supply section and a section in which the second compression chamber oil supply hole is opened toward the second compression chamber, a non-overlap section between the first oil supply section and the second oil supply section may be longer than an overlap section between the first oil supply section and the second oil supply section, so as to prevent communication between the first and second compression chambers, thereby suppressing leakage between the compression chambers.
