The present invention relates to a steam generator comprising: a steam housing which forms the exterior and has a space in which water is stored; a steam heater disposed inside the steam housing and generating heat by means of an applied power; a water pipe disposed on one side of the peripheral surface of the steam housing and having a communication hole through which water is introduced from the outside into the steam housing or water inside the steam housing is discharged to the outside; an air inlet part disposed on the upper surface of the steam housing and having an air inlet through which air is introduced into the steam housing; a steam outlet part disposed on the upper surface of the steam housing apart from the air inlet part by a predetermined distance and having a steam outlet through which steam generated inside the steam housing and the air introduced through the air inlet part are discharged to the outside.

An indoor unit of an air conditioner in which filtered air is blown inside a steam generator via a humidification fan, and humidified air inside the steam generator is discharged to the side of a steam guide, where a sufficient flow may be supplied to the inside of the steam generator, such that the steam and the filtered air may be effectively mixed, thereby enabling the generation of humidified air. Since the humidification fan blows intake air into the steam generator so as to enable humidified air to flow, the humidified air may flow up to a discharge port even when an independent flow channel of the steam guide is long.

The humidification and air cleaning apparatus includes: a water tank storing water; a visual body forming at least a portion of the water tank and formed of a transparent material; a top cover assembly disposed over the water tank and including a water supply flow passage disposed therein to supply water into the water tank; a watering housing disposed inside the water tank and rotating inside the water tank; and a watering motor rotating the watering housing. Here, when the watering housing rotates, water supplied to the water supply flow passage drops on the watering housing to be scattered.

The humidification and air cleaning apparatus includes: a water tank storing water; a visual body forming at least a portion of the water tank and formed of a transparent material; a watering housing disposed in the water tank, suctioning water stored in the water tank to pump water to an upper side, and spraying the pumped water; a watering motor rotating the watering housing; and a watering blade formed to outwardly protrude from the watering housing. Here, when the watering housing rotates, the watering blade collides with water droplets within a radius of rotation of the watering blade to scatter water droplets.

A waterwheel motor is installed on a front surface of the fan housing and positioned outside the fan intake, a driving gear is coupled to the waterwheel motor, a door assembly is configured to be pushed into or drawn out from a front end of the body frame, a water tub is accommodated in a lower side of the door assembly, and a humidifying filter assembly is inserted into the water tub.

A humidification and air cleaning apparatus including a water tank; a transparent body forming at least a portion of the water tank; a watering housing disposed in the water tank to spray water stored in the water tank; a nozzle disposed in the watering housing to spray the pumped water; an air wash inlet disposed in the water tank to receive external air into the water tank; and an air wash inlet disposed in the water tank to discharge internal air out of the water tank. During rotation, the sprayed water forms a certain trajectory and collides with an inner side surface of the visual body. Air flowing outside the water tank forms an outer main stream before passing the air wash inlet. Air passing the air wash inlet forms an inner main stream inside the water tank, which passes the trajectory of sprayed water to the discharge port.
