Abstract: Disclosed are a wireless power transmitting apparatus and a method thereof. The wireless power transmitting apparatus wirelessly transmits power to a wireless power receiving apparatus. The wireless power transmitting apparatus detects a wireless power transmission state between the wireless power transmitting apparatus and the wireless power receiving apparatus, and generates a control signal to control transmit power based on the detected wireless power transmission state. The wireless power transmitting apparatus generates the transmit power by using first DC power based on the control signal, and transmits the transmit power to a transmission resonance coil through a transmission induction coil unit based on an electromagnetic induction scheme.

Abstract: An electromagnetic resonance-type wireless power transmitter according to one embodiment of the present invention may comprise: a power conversion unit including a converter capable of converting a voltage received from a power supply unit into a particular voltage; a power transmission unit including a wireless power transmission coil for receiving the particular voltage from the power conversion unit and wirelessly transmitting power, using a particular resonance frequency; a communication unit capable of performing data communication with a wireless power receiver; and a control unit for controlling the power conversion unit, the power transmission unit, and the communication unit, wherein the wireless power transmission coil may comprise an outer coil part having a first loop shape, and an inner coil part disposed within the first loop shape and having a second loop shape, the direction of a current flowing through the outer coil part may be opposite to that of a current flowing through the inner coil part adjacent to the outer coil part, and the direction of a magnetic field generated by the outer coil part may be identical to that of a magnetic field generated by the inner coil part in a first area between the outer coil part and the inner coil part adjacent to the outer coil part.

Abstract: A charging control device includes a capacitor, a comparison unit and a switching unit. The capacitor is charged with a voltage converted from power received from a wireless power sending device. The comparison unit compares the voltage of the capacitor with a reference voltage, and generates an output signal according to the result of the comparison.
