    摘要: In a medical guide wire (1) provided to insure a smooth insertability for an improved treatment, a distal front portion (2A) of a flexible elongation core (2) is diametrically tapered or reduced progressively as approaching a distal end (T) of the flexible elongation core (2). A non-integral region (LA) is provided to form an annual space between the flexible elongation core (2) and a helical spring tube (3) to axially extend by at least 20 mm from the distal end (T) of the flexible elongation core (2). An intermediate region (L2) and a proximal region (L3) are provided to form a group of fixedly-connected portions (P) between the flexible elongation core (2) and the helical spring tube (3). The intermediate region (L2) axially extends by 50-125 mm and the proximal region (L3) extends by 125-300 mm each from the distal end (T). Spans between the fixedly-connected portions (P) of the proximal region (L3) is greater than spans between the fixedly-connected portions (P) of the intermediate region (L2). The fixedly-connected portions (P) are formed into a doughnut-shaped configuration to have 0.3-1.5 mm in breadth, and integrally connecting an inner surface of the helical spring tube (3) to an outer surface of the flexible elongation core (2).

An inner interval L1 and an outer interval L2 between the ribbon markers M1, M2 are measurement rules determined by two different length units. The balloon catheter 1 contributes to treating a strictured area of the cardiovascular system with the use of the ribbon markers M1, M2, thus enabling manufacturers to put a drug-eluting stent into practical use which would be supposed to prevail widely in the medical field.

    摘要: A medicinal liquid injection catheter includes a flexible main body, a needle-like tubular member, a medicinal liquid supply device, and a balloon. The tubular member is inserted in the main body and an end portion of the tubular member projects from a side hole provided in the main body. The medicinal liquid supply device accommodates a medicinal liquid, and is connected to the tubular member to supply the medicinal liquid through the tubular member. The balloon is attached to an outer portion of the main body and the balloon is expansible in substantially the same direction as a direction in which the portion of the tubular member projects. The medicinal liquid injection catheter additionally includes first and second guide wires. The second guide wire projects from the main body in a direction which intersects a direction in which the first guide wire projects from the main body.

A flat plane structure (13) is formed in which the core wire (2) of the top leading end portion (10) gradually changes through stepped portions (S) so that the core wire (2) progressively reduces its thickness stepwisely while successively increasing its breadth stepwisely as approaching a foremost distal end of the top leading end portion (10). This provides an improved flexibility, tender touchability, torsibility and torque transmissibility with the flat plane structure (13) so as to be accessible to the diseased area with a high detective and ablative ability.

    摘要: In a medical guide wire 1, a flexible core wire 2 is made of austenitic stainless steel wire treated with a solid solution procedure, and drawn with a whole cross sectional reduction ratio as 80%-97.6%. The core wire 2 and a helical spring body 3 are welded by a welding member 4. The welding member 4 is made of eutectic alloy having a melting temperature ranging from 180° C.-495° C. Upon welding the helical spring body 3 to the core wire 2 which is made of the stainless steel metal, the procedure prevents the medical guide wire 1 from sacrificing its mechanical strength by significantly reducing the thermal influence on the core wire 2 and the helical spring body 3.

    摘要: In an assemble of a balloon catheters (2, 3), there are provided an elongate lumen tube (21, 31), a balloon portion (22, 32) provided at a distal end of the elongate lumen tube (21, 31) and a terminal tool (23, 33) placed at proximal ends of the balloon catheters (2, 3). The balloon catheters (2, 3) have inner tubes (25, 35) into which a guide wire (10) is inserted, and having outer tubes (27, 37) around the inner tubes (25, 35) to be in communication with balloons (B) of the balloon portions (22, 32). The elongate lumen tubes (21, 31) join the balloon catheters (2, 3) together in integral therewith. Latitudinal cross sections of the outer tubes (27, 37) are substantially a semi-circular, fan-like or trapezoidal or oval configuration, otherwise the cross sections are a trapezoidal or rectangular configuration with one lateral side deformed into an arcuate configuration. This enables users to make an effective use of an interior lumen of a guiding catheter (4), thus dimensionally downsizing the balloon catheters (2, 3) while keeping an outer diameter of the balloon (B) and a thickness of the guiding catheter (4) the same size as larger ones.

    摘要: In a medical treatment equipment (1), a sheath body (5) has a deformed tight coil structure in which a plurality of wire elements (7, 8) are formed triangular in cross section, and helically wound with one coil line turn alternately arranged in neighborhood of other coil line turn. An apex of the triangular cross section of the one coil line turn facing an inner diameter side of the sheath body 5, and an apex of the triangular cross section of the other coil line turn facing an outer diameter side of the sheath body 5. Lateral sides of neighboring triangular cross sections are relatively slidable each other at a mutual neighborhood side (9) in a radial direction when the sheath body (5) is bent. This prevents the sheath body (5) from developing a line gap (C) between coil line turns of the deformed tight coil structure, and protecting the sheath body (5) against a tensile load which would otherwise be applied when the sheath body (5) is curvedly bent within a somatic cavity. Further, the sheath body (5) enables an operator to delineate a clear supersonic image under a supersonic three-dimensional echo.
