摘要: A clot removal device comprising an outer cage, an inner cage concentrically positioned within the outer cage, a first elongated member in communication with the outer cage, and a second elongated member in communication with the inner cage. The fluorescent material is configured to be in fluid communication with a fluid in the lumen. The diffuse reflector is configured to diffuse excitation light received from an excitation light source and direct the diffused excitation light toward the fluorescent material and diffuse the fluoresced light received from the fluorescence material and direct the fluoresced light toward a fluorescent light detector.

摘要: Retrieval of material from vessel lumens can be improved by electrically enhancing attachment of the material to the thrombectomy system. The system can include a catheter having a distal portion configured to be positioned adjacent to a thrombus in a blood vessel, an electrode disposed at the distal portion of the catheter, and an interventional element configured to be delivered through a lumen of the catheter. The electrode and the interventional element are each configured to be electrically coupled to an extracorporeal power supply.

Filter collapsing mechanism configured for collapsing, and being manipulated to form a pocket in filter, to entrap collected embolic material therein, and drawing filter with collected embolic material in pocket, into catheter lumen of filter delivering catheter.

摘要: The present disclosure includes a system for retrieving a blood clot in a blood vessel using a clot retrieval device having an expansile funnel that can engage with the blood clot. The present disclosure also includes a clot retrieval device having an expandable framework that can engage with the blood clot. The expansile funnel and expandable framework can expand from a collapsed delivery state to an expanded deployed state, increasing the cross-sectional area of the clot retrieval device engaging the blood clot. The increased cross-sectional area of the clot retrieval device can increase the suction force, providing effective removal of the clot from the patient.

摘要: A catheter includes: a body comprising a body side wall, a proximal end and a distal end; a septum extending from the proximal end to the distal end; a first lumen and a second lumen separated by the septum, each lumen forming a mouth at the distal end; first and second slots formed in a portion of the body side wall at the distal end and in fluid communication with the first and second lumens respectively. The first and second slots extend linearly along a direction parallel to a longitudinal axis of the body. The distal end of the body and the septum terminate in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. The distal end of the body has a substantially round cross section, while the first and second lumens each have a substantially D-shaped cross-section at the distal end. The two slots each have a width that is between 30% and 60% of a longer dimension of the D-shaped cross-section of a corresponding lumen.

摘要: Systems and methods for positioning a wire for advancement through a vessel wall, and advancing it through one or more vessel walls, generally include a delivery catheter and an alignment catheter or a receiving catheter, and a guidewire. In some variations, the systems and methods may be used to bypass an occlusion or other barrier that may prevent advancement of a wire or tools through an endoluminal space. In these variations, the systems and methods include a delivery catheter, a bypass catheter, a receiving catheter, and a guidewire. The delivery and receiving catheters each generally include a side aperture, a deflection surface, and an alignment element, and the bypass catheter generally includes two side apertures, two deflectors, and two alignment elements. In some variations, the systems and methods may assist in treatment of a patient suffering from critical limb ischemia.
