A packaging material for photographic photosensitive materials consisting essentially of a cushioning sheet having a density of less than 0.5 g/cm.sup.3, a wear-resistant heat-resistant flexible sheet having a Young's modulus of not less than 50 kg/mm.sup.2 provided on one side of the cushioning sheet, and a wear-resistant flexible sheet having a Young's modulus of not less than 50 kg/mm.sup.2 provided on the other side of the cushioning sheet, the outer most layer provided on said the other side having heat sealability, and the packaging material having complete light-shielding ability as a whole, and a light-shielding bag for photographic photosensitive materials made by fusion to join the layers having heat sealability in the above packaging material. The packaging material for photographic photosensitive materials can be heat-sealed entirely and can continuously be made into a bag automatically by a simple general purpose heat sealer, such as a heat sealing bar or a heat sealing belt, while retaining its physical strength and at a high productivity.

This invention provides a packaging material for a photographic photosensitive material having a conductive light-shielding thermoplastic resin film layer which comprises a resin composition comprising 3 to 49 wt. % of a thermoplastic elastomer having a crystallinity of 40% or less measured by the X-ray diffraction method, 0.01 to 10 wt. % of lubricant, and 1 to 70 wt. % of carbon black which is acetylene carbon black or furnace carbon black, which is excellent in the dispersion of carbon black to improve light-shielding ability and rare generation of lumps and microgrits, heat sealing properties, small degradation of physical strength, film moldability, etc.

A process for producing a container is disclosed including molding the container using an injection molding machine with a multicavity mold having not less than 12 cavities by charging a hot runner thermoplastic resin having a melt flow rate of 5 to 80 g/10 minutes to the multicavity mold, wherein not less than 70% of the total injected resin amount at each shot is injected at an injection speed which is adjusted at 150 to 270 mm/sec., and the remaining resin at each shot is injected at a final injection speed which is adjusted at 3 to 90 mm/sec. By employing the process, molding troubles such as burrs, stringiness, short shot and weld lines do not occur, and the container can be molded continuously for a long period under unmanned conditions without screening inspection.

In a container for a roll of a light-sensitive strip material having a core on which the light-sensitive strip material is coiled to form a roll, an opening for drawing out the light-sensitive strip material and a teremp cloth provided on the above opening for shielding from light, wherein a filling layer formed of polyolefin copolymer resin usable as the adhesive layer for fixing the teremp cloth on the container body is provided at the ground fabric of the teremp cloth, and/or a multilayer coextruded film is laminated under the ground fabric of the teremp cloth, and the multilayer coextruded film has a tensile strength of more than 500 g/15 mm width and comprises an adhesive layer of an ethylene copolymer resin having a comonomer content of 5 to 36 % for fixing said teremp cloth on the container body and a thermoplastic resin base layer having a melting point of higher than the ethylene copolymer resin adhesive layer by 10.degree. C. or more and a Young's modulus of more than 15 kg/mm.sup.2.In this container, the filling material does not so deeply permeate into pile yarns, even though the ground fabric is not so dense. Adhesion of pile yarn dust hardly occurs, and troubles in exposure and development caused by the pile yarn dust are solved. By incorporating the multilayer coextruded film, the thickness of the adhesive layer for fixing teremp cloth on the container body is made uniform and various problems caused by non-uniformity in the thickness of the adhesive layer are solved.

Resin compositions for use in molding articles by injection molding comprise 50 to 90 wt. % of polypropylene resin, 9 to 48.5 wt. % of linear low density polyethylene resin, 0.05 to 15 wt. % of light-shielding material, 0.05 to 40 wt. % of reinforcing material, 0.05 to 6 wt. % of lubricant, and oxidation inhibitor present in an amount of less than 0.5 wt. %. These resin compositions display very little mold shrinkage and have excellent size accuracy. They also have outstanding rigidity, physical strength, heat resistance, wear resistance and slipping characteristics. They are readily molded by injection molding, and are relatively inexpensive. Articles molded from the resin compositions according to the invention are well adapted for use as photographic photosensitive materials.

The packaging material is excellent in all physical strength, particularly tear strength and impact puncture strength, antiblocking property, antistatic properties, heat sealing properties and bag-making ability. The generations of lumps and fish eyes are rare, and the film moldabily is excellent.

A sheet film package comprises a casing, a stack of sheet films stored in said casing, and a protective board disposed in said for protecting said sheet films. The protective board has a holder portion integrally joined to one side edge of an upper panel and/or a lower panel thereof for preventing the sheet films from being displaced in a direction transverse to the direction in which the sheet films wil be fed out. The sheet film package also includes a buffer sheet member disposed on the lower panel of the protective board for placing the sheet films on the buffer sheet member. The buffer sheet member has at least one opening such as a hole or a slit for leaking suction air in each of two symmetrical areas of the buffer sheet member, one of which will be contacted by a suction cup of a film delivery mechanism disposed in a device in which the sheet film package can be loaded. The buffer sheet member has a foamed sheet layer made of thermoplastic resin.

A package for diazo thermosensitive recording materials coiled round a core, which comprises a packaging paper being a water vapor permeability of more than 50 g/m.sup.2.24 hours and comprising a light-reflecting paper layer located as outer layer and a light-shielding paper layer located as inner layer.In the package of the invention, the packaging paper shields the recording material from the external heat and light. When internal humidity is increased such as by heating of the package such as higher than 50.degree. C., moisture passes through the packaging paper to the outside. Accordingly, fogging by precoupling of the packaged diazo thermosensitive recording materials, irrespective of the fixation type or not, is remarkably decreased, and the quality of the recording material can be maintained for a long period during storage.
