Abstract: An autonomous vehicle service system having a display device, a receiver, and a controller. The receiver is configured to receive transmitted data from an autonomous vehicle related to status of the autonomous vehicle and information from a third party related to road conditions. The controller is programmed to monitor the transmitted data related to the status of the autonomous vehicle and the road conditions, determine when the autonomous vehicle requires assistance based on the transmitted data, and, when the autonomous vehicle requires assistance, cause information related to the autonomous vehicle to be displayed on the display device.

Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, systems, and non-transitory computer readable storage media for providing on-demand services to vehicles are described. The disclosed technology determines information associated with a vehicle, generates a request for a fuel delivery on-demand service using the information, confirms identification of the vehicle using a wireless signal of the vehicle, provides access to the vehicle to enable performance of the fuel delivery on-demand service and secures the vehicle after completion of the fuel delivery on-demand service.

Abstract: A method for performing a pickup/drop-off at a location includes providing, to an autonomous vehicle (AV), a parameter value of a parameter associated with the pickup/drop-off. The AV executes the pickup/drop-off according to the parameter value. After the pickup/drop-off is executed, feedback related to the parameter is received from a customer and from a tele-operator. The method also includes identifying other world objects present at the location during the pickup/drop-off and generating an optimized parameter value for executing the pickup/drop-off using the parameter value, the customer feedback, the tele-operator feedback, and other world objects.

Abstract: An apparatus for remote support of autonomous operation of a vehicle includes a processor that is configured to perform a method including receiving, from a vehicle traversing a driving route from a start point to an end point at a destination, an assistance request signal identifying an inability of the vehicle at the destination to reach the end point, generating a first map display including a representation of a geographical area and the vehicle within the geographical area, receiving, from the vehicle, sensor data from one or more sensing devices of the vehicle, generating a remote support interface including the first map display and the sensor data, and transmitting instruction data to the vehicle that includes an alternative end point at the destination responsive to an input signal provided to the remote support interface.

Abstract: Service requests are transmitted to multiple vehicles, each request associated with a time and a location. Driving histories of vehicles are known. A first location associated with a service request is compared with a known location in a vehicle driving history. The known location comprises a first cell identifier of a first grid where a size of the cells indicates a maximum acceptable deviation of the vehicle from a travel segment in the driving history that includes the first cell identifier. When the first location matches the known location and the associated time overlaps a start or end time of the travel segment that includes the first cell identifier, the service request is identified to the vehicle. The vehicle sends an indicator that it will perform at least a portion of a service, and an instruction is transmitted to the vehicle that causes the vehicle to perform the service.
