    摘要: The fuel cell assembly of the present invention comprises a first fuel cell, a second fuel cell disposed adjacent to the first fuel cell, and a current collector for electrically connecting the first fuel cell and the second fuel cell. The first fuel cell and the second fuel cell are respectively furnished with an electrical generating portion for generating electricity, each of the electrical generation portion having a first electrode through the interior of which a first gas flows, a second electrode of a polarity different from the first electrode, on the exterior of which a second gas flows, and an electrolyte disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode. The current collector distributes and sources the current generated in the first fuel cell generating portion from two different locations on the first electrode on the first fuel cell to the second electrode of the second fuel cell.

    摘要: A method for manufacturing a display, where the display includes a light-transmissive substrate adhering to a display substrate that forms a display surface side of a display body. An edge of at least either an adhesion surface of the display substrate or an adhesion surface of the light-transmissive substrate is coated with an adhesive. The display substrate and the light-transmissive substrate are positioned in an offset manner to provide overlapping and non overlapping regions. For example, an edge of each of two adhesion surfaces overlap with each other, and other regions do not overlap with each other. The display substrate and the light-transmissive substrate are relatively moved to a position where an edge of the display substrate and an edge of the light-transmissive substrate respectively overlap with other edges in a state in which adhesive reservoirs are formed while maintaining a fixed gap between the two adhesion surfaces.

    摘要: A magnetoresistive effect thin-film magnetic head including a magnetoresistive effect element having a CPP structure in which the gap length can be precisely optimized and a method for fabricating the magnetoresistive effect thin-film magnetic head are provided. The stacked magnetoresistive effect thin-films having the cap layer as the top layer are formed on the bottom shield layer. The soft magnetic layer consisting of any soft magnetic material is then formed on the cap layer, and the micro fabrication process is performed. Subsequently, at least one insulating layer is formed on the stacked magnetoresistive effect thin-films after the micro fabrication process, having the cap layer as the top layer, on which the soft magnetic layer is formed. Then, the soft magnetic layer is exposed by removing a part of the insulating layer formed on the soft magnetic layer and the top shield layer is formed on the surface of the exposed soft magnetic layer.

A network memory (100) in the storage device (1) includes an available buffer comprising a plurality of memory buffers and an in-use buffer also comprising a plurality of memory buffers. A buffer control unit (215) secures memory buffers of the available buffer as a reserved buffer having a reserved-buffer size specified in a buffer reservation request made by a storage management device (8) in response to the request. The buffer control unit (215) then allocates the memory buffers of the reserved buffer as the in-use buffer in response to a request received from the storage management device (8) to start a remote copy operation.
