Abstract:
An inner-cabin side part of a hollow part of a protector with a sensor extends between a top end and an inner-cabin side end with an inner-cabin side apex closest to an interior of an automobile body. An outer-cabin side part of the hollow part extends between the top end and an outer-cabin side end with an outer-cabin side apex closest to an exterior of the automobile body. Distances are shorter between the apexes and the ends than between the top end and the apexes. A first conductive part includes parts closer to an installation base member than an apex of a second conductive part. Lower ends of the first conductive part have protrusions formed. The protrusions extend to protrude toward the second conductive part from an inner surface of an outer coat of the hollow part and are formed on uneven bases.
Abstract:
A protector with a sensor couples to a sliding door. A first end of an insert is inserted in and fills up a space on a hollow part of the protector. A second end of the insert includes a support member and a lid. Top ends of core wires and top ends of two leads are fit in first channels on the support member. Covered parts and a wire harness are fit in a second channel. The second channel is formed between the support member and the lid and is continuous with the first channels. The support member and the lid include feeding ports to receive and feed die-molding material into the second channel during die molding.
Abstract:
A structure of an end part of a weather strip is for use on a space in which a flange breaks off. The flange is on a door of an automobile. The weather strip is formed by integrally molding a hollow part with an installation base member having a U-shaped cross section. The weather strip has an insert buried therein. The insert has a convex formed thereon. The convex extends in a longitudinal direction of the weather strip. A concave of the installation base member on the end part of the weather strip formed by extrusion molding is fit on the convex, and die molding material integrally connects the end part of the weather strip formed by extrusion molding and the insert.
Abstract:
A protector with a sensor is installed on a sliding door for detecting an object by touch between two core wires in a hollow part. In a terminal part of the protector with the sensor, the core wires drawn out are connected with leads joined with a control unit. A primary seal is formed by means of injection molding for covering wire connection parts and another end side of an insert while also covering a skin of a wire harness which ties and coats the two leads. A secondary seal is formed by means of the injection molding for coating a part formed with the primary seal and for forming an external shape of a product.
