The door assembly may further comprise a window seal having a channel extending along the interior surface and an insert comprising a base received longitudinally in the channel. Example inserts may comprise a sealing lip extending laterally out of the channel to contact the moveable window.

A dam member for separating the window-opening peripheral edge and the window member from each other at a predetermined interval is interposed between the window-opening peripheral edge and the window member. The dam member is set at a position closer to an inner peripheral end of the window-opening peripheral edge than a set position of the adhesive when viewed in a penetrating direction of the window opening.

    摘要: Disclosed is a structure in which no gap that allows water entry between a weather strip and a glass run is formed in a situation where the weather strip at an upper frame portion of a window frame extends gradually downwardly apart from the glass run. An upper glass run portion is provided with a door panel sealing lip. The door panel sealing lip is provided with a gradually varying portion such that a downward protruding length of the door panel sealing lip increases. The gradually varying portion is disposed so as to contact an outer sealing lip of the weather strip.

    摘要: A compound profile (43) consists of a fastening section (33) of a thermoplastic plastics material as well as profile sections (30, 31) of elastomeric material, namely a profile section (30) of expanded rubber and a profile section (31) of soft rubber. All sections (30, 31, 33) are fixed to one another by co-extrusion and co-vulcanization. The plastics material fastening section (33) assumes the function of the conventional metallic reinforcement of the compound profile (43). The compound profile (43) can be three-dimensionally shaped in that it is heated up to the plasticization temperature of the fastening section (33), then is brought to the desired shape in a shaping tool, and in that shape is cooled until the fastening section (33) has again returned to its non-plastic state. One thus creates a profile part which is stable in shape.

    摘要: A side part structure of a vehicle includes a side door and a second seal member. The side door includes a lower end edge which substantially overlaps a wheel arch. The second seal member is configured to seal a gap between a wheel house and the side door. The side door includes a door garnish which faces an outer edge of the wheel house. The second seal member includes an installation base member and a lip integrally formed with the installation base member. The installation base member is configured to operably couple to the outer edge of the wheel house. The lip has a substantially tongue-shaped cross section in a width direction of the vehicle, and makes contact with the door garnish. The lip extends toward an outside in the width direction of the vehicle from a part on an outer side in a radial direction of the installation base member.
