    摘要: There is disclosed a solid state image sensor including an interline transfer charge coupled device (IT-CCD) serving as an area image sensor and a vibrating plate for vibrating or swinging the IT-CCD in a plane orthogonal to an incident image light, horizontally, periodically and relatively to the incident image light in a given vibration mode. When the solid state image sensor is applied for NTSC television system in which one frame is composed of two fields, the IT-CCD is vibrated so that it senses an image at different positions during the two fields periods. As a result, a reproduced picture has a resolution which is obtained as if the number of picture elements of the image sensor per se is doubled.

    摘要: An electronic still camera is disclosed which includes a solid state image sensor such as charge transfer device (CTD) and a shutter mechanism. For obtaining a still picture of one frame composed of two fields according to an NTSC television system, the shutter mechanism is driven so as to be opened before and after a signal charge read out period of a CTD by a shutter period control circuit. With this arrangement, the field image light is incident on the CTD in every field period.

    摘要: A charge transfer apparatus comprises a pulse generator, a drive circuit for sending forth drive signals having a plurality of voltage levels in accordance with the pulse signals produced from the pulse generator, and a charge coupled device of the frame transfer type which is actuated by the drive signals and in which bias charges are previously injected into the potential wells of the light receiving section. The drive circuit comprises an analog multiplexer for selectively sending forth a D.C. voltage signal in accordance with the pulse signal, during the vertical blanking period, injects an excess amount of bias charges into the potential wells and raises the bottoms of the potential wells to let an excess amount of bias charges overflow the potential wells for combination with holes.

    摘要: An image input device is disclosed including an image source which generates an image light and a light sensor facing the image source. The image light is divided into a number of components by an image dividing device. The light sensor contains a number of photoelectric converting elements, the number of photoelectric converting elements being smaller than the number of components constituting the image light. The image dividing device is placed between the light sensor and the image source to divide the image light into components in a predetermined timed order. The photoelectric converting elements are thereby irradiated in the predetermined timed order and the electrical signals generated by these photoelectric elements are read out in this same predetermined timed order and stored in a memory.
