Abstract: A method and apparatus for operating one or more satellites in a non-geosynchronous orbit (NGSO) satellite constellation are disclosed. In some aspects, a coverage area on Earth for a first beam transmitted from a first satellite in the NGSO satellite constellation may be determined, a cone may be projected onto a first region of the beam coverage area, a second region of the beam coverage area may be defined as including portions of the beam coverage area lying outside the first region, and a minimum arc angle for each of a plurality of points within the first region but not the second region of the beam coverage area may be determined.

Abstract: Aspects relate to group-based positioning reference signal (PRS) broadcast in a wireless communication network. Wireless communication devices communicating over a sidelink channel in the wireless communication network may be grouped into one or more positioning groups. Within each positioning group, a respective order of the wireless communication devices in the positioning group may be identified. The wireless communication devices in a positioning group may then communicate PRSs therebetween over the sidelink channel based on the order of wireless communication devices in the positioning group.

Abstract: Disclosed are some examples of techniques for positioning of a user equipment (UE) using positioning reference signal (PRS). One or more units of messages may be communicated between an initiator UE and a responder UE. A unit of message may include a pre-PRS message, a PRS message and a post-PRS message. The pre-PRS message and the post-PRS message may be sent or received using a license spectrum. The PRS message may be sent or received using an unlicensed spectrum. The communication between the initiator UE and the responder UE may be initiated by the initiator UE identifying the responder UE from a plurality of UEs based on positioning properties of the responder UE. The positioning properties of the responder UE may include one or more of a direction, a velocity, a location confidence and a location of the responder UE.

A user equipment (UE), such as a vehicle UE may determine, based on one or more communication parameters of the UE, a radar field of view (FOV) for radar communications at the UE relative to a fixed frame of reference for the wireless communications system. The UE may determine a set of radar transmission parameters based on the radar FOV, where each radar transmission parameter of the set of radar transmission parameters is a function of the radar FOV. Abstract: A video stream scheduling unit may schedule resource allocations for each video frame of a plurality of video frames of video streams from a plurality of video sources based on a compressed frame type of the video frame, determine that a total frequency bandwidth of scheduled resource allocations for the frames concurrently due for transmission is greater than or equal to a threshold bandwidth, and receive the video streams from the plurality of video sources based on the scheduled resource allocations. The scheduling unit may delay or cancel a video frame with low priority or may instruct a video source to increase the compression rate of the video stream.

A first device may transmit an indication to initiate a ranging procedure with a second device, and in response to the indication, the second device may transmit signaling to the first device and to one or more third devices. The first device and the one or more third devices may each determine a respective location metric associated with the second device based on the signaling. The one or more third devices may each transmit, to the first device, the respective location metric. A wireless device may receive, from a network entity, a control message for a radar reference signal (RRS) configuration associated with the wireless device. The wireless device may set a timing pattern for the RRS based on the control message and one or more timing parameters for the RRS configuration. The wireless device may transmit the RRS according to the timing pattern. The RRS may include one or more cyclic prefix (CP) sub-symbols and one or more RRS sub-symbols. The wireless device may receive one or more reflections of the RRS and may perform one or more processing operations on the one or more reflections of the RRS using a plurality of sampling windows. A quantity of sampling windows may be equal to a quantity of CP sub-symbols.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit compressed bitmap(s) to indicate preferred or non-preferred sidelink resources. A first UE may monitor a set of sidelink resources including a set of slots and subchannels for the slots and determine which resources are available for communications for a second UE. In some examples, the first UE may generate a bitmap indicating which slots have at least one subchannel that is unavailable, and, for each slot having at least one subchannel that is unavailable, a bitmap indicating which subchannels are unavailable for that slot. The first UE may transmit the bitmaps to the second UE. In some examples, the first UE may generate a bitmap indicating which slots have at least one subchannel that is available, and, for each slot having at least one subchannel that is available, a bitmap indicating which subchannels are available.
