In one aspect, a method includes: (1) displaying a portion of a recorded video feed from the video camera, a live video affordance, and an event history affordance; (2) in response to a selection of the live video affordance: (a) requesting and displaying a live video feed; (b) continuing to display the event history affordance; and (c) ceasing to display the live video affordance; (3) in response to receiving a user selection of the event history affordance: displaying a plurality of detected events.

摘要: Video content is uploaded via the Internet to a video-on-demand (VOD) server identified by a title and a hierarchical address of categories and subcategories for categorizing the title. The VOD server converts and stores the video content at a storage address in a video content database linked to the title. The title is listed in a location of an electronic program guide (EPG) using the same categories and subcategories as in its hierarchical address. Any TV subscriber can access the EPG and navigate through its categories and subcategories to find a title for viewing on the TV. This can enable many new blogging or podcasting-like programs by popular “Hosts” to be self-published on the Internet and readily navigated for display on TV. The EPG can also store TV program addresses as bookmarks and allow them to be shared with other subscribers or with friends and contacts online by sending to their email addresses.

摘要: The present disclosure discloses a method and an apparatus for transmitting data of a mobile terminal. The method includes: obtaining cached data of a mobile application on the mobile terminal from an uploading cache, the cached data being coded and synthesized streaming data; obtaining a cache ratio of the cached data while in an online state, the cache ratio being a ratio of the cached data to the entire uploading cache in real-time; determining whether the cache ratio exceeds a preset cache ratio threshold; adjusting a bitrate of the cached data to obtain an adjusted bitrate if it is determined that the cache ratio exceeds the preset cache ratio threshold; and transmitting the cached data to a receiving terminal according to the adjusted bitrate while in the online state with a network, so that the receiving terminal plays, according to the cached data, live content corresponding to the cached data.

The video monitoring user interface includes a first region for displaying a live video feed and/or a recorded video feed from the video camera and a second region for displaying an event timeline. The event timeline includes a plurality of time indicators each indicating a specific time and a current video feed indicator indicating the temporal position of the video feed displayed in the first region. The temporal position includes a past time and a current time. The current video feed indicator is movable relative to the time indicators to facilitate a change in the temporal position of the video feed displayed in the first region.

摘要: Distributed and highly software reconfigurable CMTS (CMRTS) device, based on MAC and PHY units with FPGA and DSP components, for a HFC CATV network. The various CATV RF modulators, such as QAM modulators, may be divided between QAM modulators located at the cable plant, and remote QAM modulators ideally located at the fiber nodes. A basic set of CATV QAM data waveforms may optionally be transmitted to the nodes using a first fiber, and a second set of IP/on-demand data may be transmitted to the nodes using an alternate fiber or alternate fiber frequency, and optionally using other protocols such as Ethernet protocols. The nodes will extract the data specific to each neighborhood and inject this data into unused QAM channels, thus achieving improved data transmission rates through finer granularity. A computerized “virtual shelf” control system for managing and reconfiguring the FPGA and DSP based CMTRS units is also disclosed.

摘要: A method of converting legacy HFC CATV cable systems, which transmit data over the optical fiber portion of the system using the optical counterpart of analog RF waveforms, such as RF QAM waveforms transduced to corresponding optical QAM waveforms, to improved HFC CATV systems that transmit data over the optical fiber using optical fiber optimized protocols, such as Ethernet frames and other optical fiber optimized digital transport protocols. According to the method, most aspects of the legacy HFC CATV system may be retained, however at the CATV head end, the optical fiber transmitter system is replaced by an improved system that extracts the underlying symbols from legacy waveforms, packages these symbols into optical fiber optimized packets, and transmits downstream. The legacy optical fiber nodes are replaced with improved nodes capable of receiving the packets and remodulating the symbols into RF waveforms suitable for injection into the system's CATV cable.

摘要: A content hosting system allows content providers to create channels of video content and make them available to users in a marketplace. Users can search or browse for channels of interest, and selectively subscribe to channels. Users can also pay for the right to view premium videos in each channel. The system ranks channels according to the value provided. Generally, users will seek out and subscribe to the highest ranked channels that provide the greatest value. The ranking function allows different providers to compete for the subscriptions of users. Providers can observe their channel's reception in the market by analyzing rankings and usage statistics to adjust channels to maximize channel performance. The system operator can also create bundled channels containing videos from multiple providers, and the resulting subscription revenue can be distributed to the various providers of the videos in the channel.
