Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, devices use machine learning (ML) models to support wireless communications. For example, a user equipment (UE) may download ML model information from a network to determine an ML model. The network may additionally configure a status reporting procedure, a fallback procedure, or both for the ML model. In some examples, based on a configuration, the UE may transmit a status report to a base station according to a reporting periodicity, a UE-based trigger, a network-based trigger, or some combination thereof. Additionally or alternatively, the UE may determine to fallback from operating using the ML model to operating in a second mode based on a fallback trigger. In some examples, to restore operating using a downloaded ML model, the UE may download an updated ML model or receive iterative updates to a previously downloaded ML model.

Abstract: The described techniques relate to improved methods, systems, devices, and apparatuses that support interference mitigation for remote devices. A first wireless device (e.g., a base station) may detect remote interference with its communications caused by a second wireless device (e. g., a second, remote base station) based on, for example, a measured interference over thermal noise level exceeding a threshold. The first wireless device may identify a set of time-frequency resources for remote interference reference signals and a data transmission for a user equipment (UE) that is in communication with the first wireless device. The first wireless device may transmit a remote interference signal to a second wireless device (e. g., a second base station) via the set of time-frequency resources. The first wireless device may further signal a resource allocation to the UE for the UE to use for transmitting uplink transmissions to the first wireless device.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for wireless communication. In one aspect of the disclosure, a method for wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving cross-link interference (CLI) resource configuration information and angle-of-arrival (AoA) estimation configuration information, The method also includes receiving CLI associated with an uplink transmission transmitted by another UE, and determining a CLI value for the CLI based on the CLI resource configuration information. The method includes determining an AoA value associated with the CLI based on the AoA estimation configuration information, the AoA value corresponding to an estimated AoA at the UE associated with the uplink transmission. The method further includes transmitting CLI report data indicating the determined CLI value and AoA report data indicating the estimated AoA value. In some aspects, a first base station (BS) may detect remote interference, with one or more uplink communications on a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) associated with the first BS, caused by propagation of one or more reference signal (RS) communications, transmitted by a second BS, out of a coverage area of the second BS and into a coverage area of the first BS due to reflection of the one or more RS communications. The coverage area of the first BS and the coverage area of the second BS are non-overlapping coverage areas. The first BS may adjust, based at least in part on detecting the remote interference, one or more radio resource allocations of the PUSCH associated with the first BS. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for enabling a network equipment to reduce interference for downlink (DL) transmissions to a first device by determining a transmit precoding matrix indicator (TPMI) for uplink (UL) transmissions transmitted by a second device based on feedback from the first device. The first device may determine a subset of possible TPMIs that the second device may use for UL transmissions for full-duplex communications. The first device may indicate the subset to the network equipment. Based on the subset indicated by the first device, the network equipment may determine a pairing of the first device and the second device for full-duplex communications. Additionally, the network equipment may determine a TPMI for the second device to use in UL transmissions and indicate the TPMI to the second device.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for transmitting demodulation reference signals (DMRS) with control channels (e.g., physical downlink control channels (PDCCHs)) that enable receiving devices to bundle (e.g., coherently combine) the DMRS over time. A UE may detect a portion of a PDCCH to the UE in at least one resource element group (REG), wherein the REG is in a segment of a control resource set (CORESET) configured for the UE or a group of UEs including the UE and the REG is during a first search space (SS) set occasion configured for the UE or the group of UEs; and process wideband (WB) DMRS in the segment during the first SS set occasion and in the segment during at least one second SS set occasion, wherein the UE does not detect another portion of the PDCCH or another PDCCH during the second SS set occasion.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) are described. A UE may receive control signaling from a serving base station. The control signaling may indicate a resource pattern to monitor for interference caused by downlink transmissions from a second base station. The UE may then perform a received signal strength indicator measurement of the downlink transmissions from the second base station in accordance with the resource pattern. Upon performing the received signal strength indicator measurement, the UE may transmit a measurement report including an indication of the received signal strength indicator measurement.
