    摘要: Configurations and feedback schemes for compressed channel state information (CSI) feedback are provided. A User Equipment (UE) determines a constraint on a total number of transfer domain coefficients to be reported for compressed Channel State Information (CSI) feedback by the UE for a plurality of beams identified for the feedback, wherein each transfer domain coefficient is associated with amplitude information and phase information. The UE selects from a transfer domain coefficient compression matrix, based on the constraint, a set of one or more transfer domain coefficients to report for each of the beams. The UE reports information indicating a number of selected transfer domain coefficients in the set of transfer domain coefficients for each beam and a location of each transfer domain coefficient within the transfer domain coefficient compression matrix and reports at least the amplitude and phase information for the selected coefficients.

    摘要: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for channel state information (CSI) for multiple transmission reception point (multi-TRP) transmission such as non-coherent joint transmission (NCJT), including determining subband sizes for CSI and rules for Part II CSI omission. A method that can be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving a CSI report configuration. The CSI report configuration associated with one or more CSI reference signal (RS) resources, each CSI resource including a set of ports or port groups. The UE selects one or more CSI-RS resources for which to report CSI and determines a subband size for sending a CSI report based, at least in part, on payload of the CSI report. In an example method, the UE can determine whether the UE has sufficient resources for the CSI report and omit at least a portion of the CSI based on the determination.

    摘要: Wireless devices may use polar codes for encoding transmissions and may support combining transmissions to improve decoding reliability (e.g., by achieving chase combining and incremental redundancy (IR) gains). For example, an encoding device may puncture a set of mother code bits using different puncturing patterns to obtain different redundancy versions for a first transmission and a re-transmission. Each puncturing pattern may correspond to an equivalent decoding performance. In some cases, to obtain equivalent puncture sets, the encoding device may perform punctured index manipulation procedures on an initial puncturing pattern. A punctured index manipulation procedure may involve switching a binary state for a binary bit at a same binary bit index for each puncture index in a puncturing pattern. A device may receive the transmissions generated using the equivalent puncture sets and may combine the information for improved decoding reliability.

In some systems, a device may select antenna elements from a planar array to transmit or receive an orbital angular momentum (OAM) beam. The device may determine a first area (e.g., a first ring area) based on an angular direction over which the device can communicate an OAM beam with a second device and may determine a second area (e.g., a second ring area) on the planar array based on projecting the first area on the planar array. The device may select a set of antenna elements from the planar array that are located within the second area. The device may determine a complex-valued weight for each antenna element of the selected set of antenna elements and may transmit or receive an OAM beam to or from the second device via the set of antenna elements according to the angular direction.

In some cases, the plurality of decoding operations may comprise performing a first decoding on a first decoding candidate received in a current TTI, the first decoding operation applying a first descrambling code to the first decoding candidate, and performing a second decoding operation on a combined decoding candidate that comprises soft combined information from the first and second decoding candidate, the second decoding candidate received in a prior TTI.

    摘要: Network coding in automatic receipt request (ARQ) functionality is disclosed. A compatible transmitter configures a new transmission period, in which the set of data for transmission is transmitted, and a retransmission period, after the new transmission period, in which a number of network coded data is retransmitted based on the acknowledgement feedback received from the receivers receiving the transmitted set of data. The acknowledgement feedback identifies one or more data requested for retransmission by one or more of the receivers. The transmitter determines a number of network coded data that could be transmitted to accommodate each of the requesting receivers and the data requested by such receivers for retransmission. These network coded data would then be retransmitted by the transmitter during the retransmission period.

A user equipment (UE) may report a total number of non-zero power DFT beams across all of the transmission layers. The UE may be configured with a total number of leading beams (Ktotal) across all of the transmission layers for which to provide high quantization feedback. When the total number of non-zero DFT beams across all the transmission layers exceeds the configured total number of leading beams across all the transmission layers, the UE may report high-resolution quantization feedback for Ktotal non-zero power precoding coefficients having the highest amplitude coefficients, and may report low-resolution quantization feedback for the remaining non-zero power precoding coefficients. A base station may receive the CSI feedback to determine a precoding matrix.
