    Abstract: Enhanced handheld screen-sensing pointing, in which a handheld device captures a camera image of one or more fiducials rendered by a display device, and a position or an angle of the one or more fiducials in the captured camera image is determined. A position on the display device that the handheld device is aimed towards is determined based at least on the determined position or angle of the one or more fiducials in the camera image, and an application is controlled based on the determined position on the display device.

    Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and computer-readable media are provided for processing image data captured by a first device for display on a second device. For example, a range of predicted orientations of the second device can be determined. A predicted field-of-view of the second device can then be determined. The predicted field-of-view corresponds to the range of predicted orientations of the second device. The predicted field-of-view can be transmitted to the first device. Cropped image data may then be received from the first device, which includes image data cropped to include the predicted field-of-view. An updated orientation of the second device can be determined, and an updated field-of-view within the cropped image data can be determined that corresponds to the updated orientation of the second device.

    Abstract: A representation of a user can move with respect to a graphical user interface based on input of a user. The graphical user interface comprises a central region and interaction elements disposed outside of the central region. The interaction elements are not shown until the representation of the user is aligned with the central region. A gesture of the user is recognized, and, based on the recognized gesture, the display of the graphical user interface is altered and an application control is outputted.
