Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a transmitter user equipment (UE) determines a first demodulation reference signal (DMRS) pattern for a first slot allocated for transmission over a sidelink between the transmitter UE and a receiver UE, wherein the first DMRS pattern is determined based at least on the first slot having a first slot format of two or more slot formats, and transmits, to the receiver UE, DMRS in the first slot according to the first DMRS pattern. In an aspect, the receiver UE determines the first DMRS pattern for the first slot based at least on the first slot having the first slot format, and receives, from the transmitter UE, DMRS in the first slot according to the first DMRS pattern.

Abstract: In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be a UE. The apparatus may receive from a second device a first data packet in one or more receiving slots of a time division duplex frame that includes a plurality of slots. The apparatus may determine whether the first data packet is received incorrectly. The apparatus may wait until the end of the one or more receiving slots and may transmit to the second device a first NACK in a NACK feedback symbol in a configured slot after the end of the one or more receiving slots in response to determining that the first data packet was not received correctly.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. One method for wireless communication at a first device includes receiving a multicast packet from a second device, decoding control header information in the received multicast packet, determining that a decoding procedure associated with a payload of the received multicast packet is unsuccessful and transmitting a negative acknowledgement (NACK) based at least in part on the determining. The method also includes retrieving a list of transmitter identifiers. In some cases, transmitting the NACK is based at least in part on the list of transmitter identifiers. The method further includes determining a transmitter identifier associated with the multicast packet and determining that the transmitter identifier is present in the list of transmitter identifiers.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE), e.g., such as a pedestrian UE (PUE), may detect, during a first transmission period of a discontinuous transmission cycle, a transmission over a sidelink channel from a second UE that is located within a threshold distance from the first UE, the first UE associated with a first identifier. The first UE may determine, based at least in part on the transmission, a second identifier associated with the second UE, the second identifier being different from the first identifier. The first UE may use, based at least in part on the second UE being within the threshold distance, the first identifier and the second identifier during one or more subsequent transmission periods of the discontinuous transmission cycle.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a second user equipment, an indication of a time buffer threshold associated with providing sidelink hybrid automatic repeat request feedback on a physical sidelink feedback channel. Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine that a first quantity of physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) transmissions to be transmitted in a slot fails to satisfy a condition that is based at least in part on a maximum quantity of PSFCH transmissions the UE can concurrently detect. The UE may identify, among the PSFCH transmissions to be transmitted in the slot, a subset of the PSFCH transmissions to be detected. For example, the subset of the PSFCH transmissions to be detected may include a second quantity of the PSFCH transmissions that satisfies the condition. Accordingly, the UE may monitor, during the slot, a PSFCH for the subset of the PSFCH transmissions. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Multiple UEs may form a sidelink communications group and provide for sidelink groupcast communications in which an identification of a UE is determined based at least in part on a member identification of the UE within the group. Each UE in the group may determine feedback resources for acknowledgment feedback within the group based on a UE identification and a size of the group.
