Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) switch between carriers of a group of a carriers during uplink communications in accordance with a mapping. For example, the UE may report its capability to a base station for switching between carriers of the group, where the group includes a supplementary uplink (SUL) carrier and two or more normal uplink (NUL) carriers that are each associated with a different radio frequency band. The base station may indicate for the UE to switch to a subset of carriers of the group corresponding to a combination of radio frequency bands for transmission of an uplink message. The UE may switch to at least one carrier of the subset of carriers in accordance with a mapping that is based on the reported capability and may transmit the uplink message on the at least one carrier.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for allocating resources for environment sensing. In an aspect, a base station transmits a first radar reference signal (RRS) on a first set of resources comprising first time resources, first frequency resources, first spatial resources, or any combination thereof, wherein the first set of resources is selected to enable a first user equipment (UE) to perform a first type of environment sensing, and transmits a second RRS on a second set of resources comprising second time resources, second frequency resources, second spatial resources, or any combination thereof, wherein the second set of resources is selected to enable a second UE to perform a second type of environment sensing, wherein the second set of resources is different from the first set of resources, and wherein the second type of environment sensing is different from the first type of environment sensing.

Abstract: Mechanisms for cross-carrier scheduling from a first cell to a second cell in a wireless networking scheme are provided. In one aspect, a method includes receiving, from a base station (BS), a first configuration for scheduling in a first cell having a first subcarrier spacing (SCS), wherein the first configuration is associated with a first search space in the first cell. The method further includes receiving, from the BS, a second configuration for scheduling in the first cell, wherein the second configuration is associated with a second search space in a second cell, and wherein the second cell is associated with a different second SCS. The method further includes determining a number of blind detections (BDs) based on at least one of the first SCS or the second SCS, and monitoring, based on the number of BDs, for downlink control information (DCI) in the first and second search spaces.

Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to communicating ACK/NACK feedbacks for multi-user and unicast physical down-link shared channel (PDSCH) communications are provided. A UE may receive a multi-user PDSCH communication including a first transport block (TB) for the UE and may receive a unicast PDSCH communication including a second TB for the UE. The UE may determine a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) codebook for the first TB associated with the multi-user PDSCH communication and the second TB associated with the unicast PDSCH communication. The UE may transmit a first acknowledgement/negative-acknowledgment (ACK/NACK) feedback for the first TB and a second ACK/NACK feedback for the second TB based on the determined HARQ codebook.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, for measurement and reporting procedures associated with a sidelink positioning reference signal (SL-PRS).
