This biaxially oriented polyester film for a magnetic recording medium has an extremely small number of coarse protrusions and excellent winding property, abrasion resistance and traveling durability and can be produced at a low production cost.

Also provided is a target engine output torque arithmetic processing section for calculating a target engine output torque, based on all of the target driving torque, the speed-change ratio, and a speed ratio of the transmission input speed to the engine speed. Depending on the engine speed and the target engine output torque, the throttle opening and the transmission input speed are both feedback-controlled.

The vacuum clean box is airtightly connected to a sputter unit which is provided with a second opening selectively closed with a second shutter, when the first and second openings are closed with the first and second shutters, respectively, resulting in forming a closed space therebetween through which the first and second shutters are opposite to each other. A clean transfer method and an apparatus therefor capable of facilitating storage and transfer of transferred objects by a vacuum clean box and realizing transfer of the objects to various processing units other than a vacuum unit. A vacuum clean box and a clean unit are airtightly connected to each other. The vacuum clean box includes a first shutter acting also as a lid and arranged so as to airtightly close a first opening of the box. The clean unit is provided with a second opening selectively closed by a second shutter. Airtight connection between the vacuum clean box and the clean unit is carried out while keeping the first and second openings closed by the first and second shutters, respectively, to thereby form a closed space therebetween which the first and second shutters face. Then, the closed space is evacuated to a vacuum, followed by opening of only the first shutter. Subsequently, a clean atmosphere which is substantially identical with a clean atmosphere in the clean unit is formed in the closed space and the second shutter is opened to introduce the first and second shutters into the clean unit.

Provided is a method for drying resin-used electronic parts which comprises enclosing resin-used electronic parts together with both an oxygen absorbent requiring no moisture for absorption of oxygen and a drying agent in a container having a gas barrier property and then sealing the container and removing oxygen and, preferably, then heating the sealed container. Thereby, no quality deterioration due to oxidation and degradation of a metal surface occurs in a drying step of resin-used electronic parts.

An inserting apparatus inserts, into specified holes of a board, an axial type electronic component having a pair of lead wires extending from a main body and belonging to an assembly of electronic components which are connected by a tape and arranged at regular intervals. The apparatus includes chucks constructed so that the chucks can move forward and backward while grasping end portions of the axial type electronic component. A component carrying device is provided with the chucks and arranged at regular intervals in a circular form, each operating intermittently so that each chuck stops at least in a component supplying position and a component transferring position. A component supplying device is provided with a cutter for cutting the tape connecting the assembly of axial type electronic components, and operates to supply each axial type electronic component to each chuck located in the component supplying position. A component transferring device receives each axial type electronic component from each chuck located in the component transferring position and transfers the axial type electronic component to a component inserting position. A component inserting device receives the axial type electronic component from the component transferring device in the component inserting position, inserts both the ends of the lead wires into the specified holes of the board, and bends the lead wires underneath the board so as to fix the axial type electronic component to the board.
