Abstract: A fabrication method of a dye polarizer and a display panel are provided. The fabrication method includes: dissolving a dye mixture and a reactive monomer in a solvent to form a polarization film solution, in which the dye mixture is formed by mixing multiple dichroic dyes and the dye mixture functions to absorb visible light of all wave band; coating the polarization film solution one a base, followed by alignment, to allow the reactive monomer to cure on the base; and repeating the step of forming the dye polarization film for n times to form a dye polarizer including n+1 stacked layers of the dye polarization, where n is a nature number greater than or equal to 2. The display panel includes the dye polarizer that is formed with the fabrication method described above.

A projection of the first light blocking zone cast on the second substrate has an area covering the second light blocking zone. The first light blocking zone functions to block, when first light is projected onto the first light transmission zone, the first light from projecting onto the second light transmission zone, and the second light blocking zone functions to block, when second light is projecting onto the third light transmission zone, the second light from projecting onto the fourth light transmission zone. A display device is also provided.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a white balance adjustment method and system. The method includes: obtaining initial white balance components of each of grayscales respectively for red pixels, green pixels, and blue pixels; obtaining a first relationship curve by fitting the white balance component of the red pixel with the green pixel, and obtaining a second relationship curve by fitting the white balance component of the blue pixel with the green pixel; calculating the adjusted white balance component of the green pixel after the GAMMA voltage is adjusted; substituting the adjusted white balance component of the green pixel into the first relationship curve and the second relationship curve to respectively obtain the adjusted white balance components of the red pixel and the blue pixel; and creating a second white balance look-up table according to the adjusted white balance components of the red pixels, the green pixels, and blue pixels.

Abstract: A white balance method of a four-color pixel system is disclosed. By means of the method, the present invention can automatically adjust white balance, and the transition between low grayscales can be smooth and natural when observed by human eyes.

Abstract: A gamut mapping method. The method includes: inputting an original display image; transforming the original display image to obtain a frequency-domain image in a frequency domain; determining a first portion and a second portion of the frequency-domain image in the frequency domain; respectively transforming the first portion and the second portion of the frequency-domain image to obtain a first portion and a second portion of a transformed image in the spatial domain; respectively utilizing different gamut mapping principles to the first portion and the second portion to perform gamut mapping between the first portion and the second portion of the transformed image and the target device; synthesizing the first portion and the second portion to obtain a final display image. In the present invention, different frequency portions of the image perform gamut mapping independently, and the mapping result is synthesized to obtain a final image.
