Abstract: According to an embodiment of this disclosure, a method for transmitting and receiving a signal in a device of a mobile communication system includes steps of receiving, from a base station, a first message containing one or more of synchronization information and resource allocation information; transmitting, to other device, a second message containing the received synchronization information and resource allocation information; and receiving, from the other device, a third message for a random access based on the synchronization information and the resource allocation information. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, even a device failing to obtain synchronization can obtain synchronization from a base station through other device, receive authentication and security related information, and thereby perform reliable D2D communication. Also, a communication efficiency can be improved by transmitting and receiving D2D related information between devices through limited resources.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a 5G or pre-5G communication system to be provided to support a data transmission rate higher than that of a 4-G communication system, such as LTE, and subsequent communication systems. An apparatus according to one embodiment of the present invention can comprise: a first grouping unit for performing repeated decoding by using an outer decoder and an inner decoder, and grouping, in correspondence to a decoding order, a bit stream, which is received from the outer decoder, from a receiver of a system using binary irregular repeat partial accumulate codes to the inner decoder device; an LLR symbol selection unit for calculating indices of grouped bits having the maximum probability value among the grouped bits, and selecting and outputting a predetermined number of grouped bit LLR values by using the indices of the grouped bits having the maximum probability value; an LLR symbol conversion unit for converting the grouped bit LLR values outputted from the LLR symbol selection unit into symbol LLR values, and outputting the same; a Bahl-Cocke-Jelinek-Raviv (BCJR) processing unit for performing a BCJR algorithm operation on the symbol LLR values; a bit LLR calculation unit for converting an output of the BCJR processing unit into bit LLR values; and a second bit grouping unit for grouping the bit LLR values by predetermined bit units.

Abstract: Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for generating a codeword, and a method and an apparatus for recovering a codeword. An encoder calculates the number of punctured symbol nodes among symbol nodes included in a codeword, punctures symbol nodes located at even or odd number positions among the symbol nodes included in the codeword, calculates the number of symbol nodes which need to be additionally punctured on the basis of the calculated number of the symbol nodes to be punctured, classifies the symbol nodes, which need to be additionally punctured, into one or more punctured node groups on the basis of the calculated number of symbol nodes which need to be punctured, determines the locations on the codeword where the one or more punctured node groups are to be arranged, and punctures the symbol nodes included in the codeword which belong to the punctured node groups according to the determined locations. A transmission unit transmits the codeword.
