    Abstract: Provided are a method and apparatus for controlling a vehicle by recognizing an object near the vehicle. The method may include: obtaining first sensing data regarding the object near the vehicle, from a first sensor; obtaining second sensing data regarding the object, from a second sensor; obtaining a first object recognition possibility of a driver regarding the object and a second object recognition possibility regarding the object, based on the first sensing data, the second sensing data, and characteristics of the first sensor and the second sensor; obtaining a degree of risk of the object, based on the first object recognition possibility and the second object recognition possibility; and performing a certain function of the vehicle, based on the degree of risk of the object.

    Abstract: An electronic apparatus and a control method thereof are provided. The control method includes: receiving video data; acquiring a plurality of feature information representing an object from the received video data using a plurality of filters; detecting the object included in the video data using feature information, among the plurality of feature information, acquired by at least two of the plurality of filters; and providing information on the detected object. As a result, the electronic apparatus can accurately detect surrounding vehicles and pedestrians even under a general road condition, dark road conditions (such as at night time and bad weather), or the like.
