Embodiments herein disclose a system and method for configuring slice profile in a Fifth Generation (5G) network. The method comprises determining root slice profile from a Service Profile (101). Further, generating one or more subnet slice profiles (102) associated with corresponding one or more network domains of the 5G network from the root slice profile. Furthermore, classifying one or more attributes (501) in each of the one or more subnet slice profiles (102) as configurable attributes (103) or as non-configurable attributes for the corresponding one or more network entities (105) in the corresponding network domain. Thereafter, providing the one or more attributes (501) categorized as the configurable attributes (103) to the corresponding one or more network entities (105) for enforcing the configurable attributes (103). Finally, providing the one or more attributes (501) categorized as the non-configurable attributes to the corresponding one or more OAM entities for enforcing the non-configurable attributes.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a pre-5th-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates Beyond 4th-Generation (4G) communication system such as Long Term Evolution (LTE). Embodiments herein provide a method of User Equipment (UE) handover from a Source-Radio Access Network (S-RAN) to a Target-Radio Access Network (T-RAN). The method comprises detecting whether the S-RAN and the T-RAN both support UE (101) Radio Capability (URC) signaling optimization. Further, determining whether a URC information corresponding to a URC Identification (URC-ID) is available at the T-RAN. Furthermore, sending the URC information to the T-RAN upon determining un-availability of the URC information at the T-RAN, or sending the URC-ID to the T-RAN upon determining availability of the URC information at the T-RAN. Finally, performing handover procedure with the UE (101) using one of the URC-ID and the URC information.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate. Embodiments herein provide a method for PALS in a communication network by a UE. The method comprises: establishing a connection with a host network apparatus of the communication network; establishing a connection with a home network apparatus of the communication network; selecting at least one of the home network apparatus or the host network apparatus to access at least one of a multicast service delivery mode, a unicast service delivery mode, or a broadcast service delivery mode based on service prioritization at the UE; and receiving content disseminated from the at least one of the home network apparatus or the host network apparatus over the at least one of the multicast service delivery mode, the unicast service delivery mode, or the broadcast service delivery mode in the communication network.

Abstract: Methods and systems for managing AMF re-allocation is provided. The method for managing AMF reallocation during UE registration procedure with a 5G network comprises: determining if the first AMF may send a routing assistance information to the UE, on the first AMF determining that the first AMF is not a right AMF to serve the UE; sending a routing assistance information, to the UE, as response to a first registration request message; receiving routing assistance information from the first AMF; sending a second registration request message to a 5G RAN of the 5G network comprising a portion of content included in the routing assistance information; and routing the second registration request message to a second AMF of the 5G network, wherein the second AMF is determined by the 5G RAN based on the portion of content included in the routing assistance information.
