摘要: The present invention provides a toner having a releasing agent, a binder resin and a colorant. The binder resin is contained in a form of particles, surfaces of which have 1.2 times or greater amount of a polar group-containing compound, or of a cross-linked compound, than insides thereof. A viscosity of the releasing agent, as determined by using a type-E viscometer provided with a cone plate having a cone angle of 1.34 degrees at 140° C., is 1.5 to 5.0 mPa·S. The present invention further provides a developer containing a carrier and the toner. The present invention further provides an image forming method that utilizes the developer.

摘要: Information processing apparatus and method, recording medium, and program are provided. An information processing apparatus includes the following elements. A receiver receives a command requesting for the execution of predetermined processing. A storage unit stores data and first information indicating, among a plurality of stages in a lifecycle of the information processing apparatus, the current stage determined by the stored data and second information indicating an executable command in the current stage, the executable command being determined for each of the plurality of stages. A determining unit determines on the basis of the first information and the second information whether the command received by the receiver is an executable command in the current stage.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a sealed battery according to one embodiment of this invention includes a first step of using an outer can 15 having an opening, and a sealing plate 16 having a flange provided with a groove 22 around or on a part of a fitting face of the sealing plate 16 with the outer can 15, and inserting the sealing plate 16 into the opening of the outer can 15 so that a top face of the outer can 15 is approximately flush with a top face of the flange of the sealing plate 16, and a second step of welding together the outer can 15 and the sealing plate 16 by radiating a high energy ray to the fitting portion therebetween. The invention thus makes it possible to provide a method for manufacturing a sealed battery in which a weld formed by welding a sealing plate fitted into an opening of an outer can of a battery with a laser or other high energy rays has a large breaking strength, and a sealed battery manufactured thereby.

摘要: A carbon fiber composite material (10) is provided which includes carbon fibers (11), a matrix (12) binding the carbon fibers (11) together, and pores (13), and a volume fraction of the carbon fibers (11) exclusive of the pores (13) is not less than 45% and up to 80%. The carbon fiber composite material (10) may preferably have a porous structure of which a porosity is not more than 20% and up to 70%. This carbon fiber composite material (10) has a high static friction coefficient (μS), and low μ ratio, and thus is suitable for a wet friction member (e.g., carbon disc 5) which is excellent in both of static friction performance and dynamic friction performance.
