摘要: The present invention relates to a high speed embossing and adhesive printing process, said process comprising the steps of (a) applying an adhesive to a conformable heated glue application roll; (b) applying said adhesive to a first patterned embossing roll, having an outer surface, which is engaged with a second patterned embossing roll having a complementary pattern to said first embossing roll; (c) passing a web of sheet material between said first and second embossing rolls at a tangential line speed to simultaneously emboss said web and apply said adhesive to said web, such that said adhesive forms an adhesive pattern between embossments; and (d) applying a renewable release agent to the outer surface of the first patterned embossing roll.

摘要: The present invention relates to selecting dispensers having optimal spray patterns for use together with aqueous wrinkle removal and/or reduction compositions to minimize the potential to stain fabrics and significantly reduce drying time associated with aqueous-based wrinkle control compositions. The present invention also relates to wrinkle control compositions suitable for use in dispensers with optimal spray patterns and articles of use including instructions for use. The present invention also relates to methods of use for wrinkle control compositions in dispensers with optimal spray patterns.

摘要: An apparatus for dispensing paper. The apparatus allows for the use of an existing wall-mounted dispenser without requiring any modification to the existing wall-mounted unit. The apparatus can also be free-standing or portable. The apparatus will accommodate rolled paper or sheets of paper. The apparatus also comprises an automated system for moistening and/or cleansing which enables the user to optionally moisten the paper and/or apply a cleansing agent to the paper if so desired. The degree (i.e.; the amount) of moistening or cleansing agent applied may be controlled by the user.

摘要: The present invention provides a process which in a preferred embodiment includes the steps of: (a) applying a hot melt adhesive to a heated roll rotating at an initial tangential speed; (b) milling the adhesive to a reduced thickness and accelerating said adhesive through a series of metering gaps between a plurality of adjacent heated glue rolls; (c) applying the adhesive to a conformable glue application roll rotating at a tangential line speed which is higher than the initial tangential speed; (d) applying the adhesive to a first patterned embossing roll which is engaged with a second patterned embossing roll having a complementary pattern to the first embossing roll, the embossing rolls being heated; (e) passing a web of sheet material between the first and second embossing rolls at the tangential line speed to simultaneously emboss the web and apply the adhesive to the web, such that the adhesive forms an adhesive pattern between embossments; (f) transferring the web from the second embossing roll to the first embossing roll; (g) stripping the web from the first embossing roll; and (h) cooling the web.

摘要: An ultrasonic atomizer is provided including an ultrasonic vibrator, a reservoir, and a heat exchanger. The ultrasonic vibrator is connected to an amplifying section. The amplifying section has an exterior surface and a tip thereon. The amplifying section can be elongated and the amplifying section can be inclined at an angle that is preferably between about 5.degree. to 10.degree. from horizontal. The reservoir is in fluid communication with the exterior surface of the amplifying section. The reservoir contains a liquid. A pump can be located between the reservoir and the exterior surface of the amplifying section in order to assure a liquid flow rate of between about 10 to about 30 ml/min. The heat exchanger is provided in order to control the temperature and viscosity of the liquid. The liquid is directed to flow from the reservoir and over the exterior surface of the amplifying section to the tip. A feed tube having a dispensing end can be provided. The feed tube is located between the reservoir and the exterior surface of the amplifying section in order for the liquid to be dispensed from the dispensing end onto the exterior surface. Preferably, the feed tube passes through the heat exchanger prior to the liquid flowing over the amplifying section. The liquid is propelled from the tip in the form of droplets having a substantially horizontal velocity when the tip is oscillated upon actuation of the ultrasonic vibrator.

摘要: A high speed embossing and adhesive printing process using a first and second embossing rolls having complementary embossing pattern disposed thereon. A web of sheet material is placed in contact with an adhesive applied to the first embossing roll. The adhesive forms an adhesive pattern on the web of sheet material in register with the first embossing pattern of the first embossing roll. The web of sheet material is then passed between the first and second embossing rolls which emboss the web with the complementary embossing pattern.
