    摘要: A method for decreasing the level of restenosis following a stent placement medical intervention involves the continuous administration of a dose of an anti-restenotic agent, such as Pimecrolimus, from the stent to vascular tissue in need of treatment in a controlled and extended drug release profile for a period of at least 45 days in vivo. The in vivo release profile is determined by in vivo animal experiments involving implanting a series of stents in animals, explanting the stents from the animals at selected time points, and extracting remaining drug from the explanted stents.

    摘要: A method of scan chain integrity testing for an integrated circuit design includes steps of: (a) receiving as input an integrated circuit design; (b) generating a partial shift test bench for the integrated circuit design wherein the partial shift test bench includes scan chains stitched together into shift registers and a scan block; (c) parallel loading the scan chains with a set of test vectors from the scan block with an offset of N bits wherein N is a number greater than one and less than the maximum length of the scan chains; (d) shifting the last N bits of the test vectors into the scan chains with N scan clock pulses; (e) comparing outputs of the scan chains with expected values in the scan block to produce a scan chain integrity test result; and (f) generating as output the scan chain integrity test result.

    摘要: An encryption system permits end-to-end encryption of information over an untrusted interconnection network. The information encryption system includes at least one client for processing information. The system also includes at least one storage device for holding the information. At least one key server provides a data key for encrypting and decrypting the information. An encryption module is associated with each client. Each encryption module has a first processor accessing a first memory and a second processor accessing a second memory different from the first memory. The first processor communicates with the associated client. The second processor communicates with the storage device. The first processor communicates with the second processor through a dedicated channel. The second processor obtains the data key from the key server. Information is received from the first processor over the dedicated channel and encrypted using the data key. The encrypted information is then stored on the storage device. The second processor also reads the encrypted information from the storage device, decrypts the information using the data key, and sends the decrypted information to the first processor over the dedicated channel.

    摘要: Scanning probe microscopes and scanning probe heads are provided having improved optical visualization and sample manipulation capabilities. The SPMs and SPM heads include at least one flexure stage for scanning in the x, y and/or z directions. In a preferred embodiment, the SPMs or SPM heads include flexure stages for scanning in the x, y and z directions. The z scanning stage is preferably positioned outside the lateral footprint of the x-y flexure stage so that a probe extending from the z scanning stage is outside the lateral footprint of the instrument. The SPMs and SPM heads are configured to provide top down and bottom up optical views of the sample and/or the probe and enable simultaneous scanning probe microscopy and optical imaging of a sample to be performed. The SPMs and SPM heads are designed to be readily combinable with existing upright and inverted optical microscopes currently available from various major manufacturers.
