摘要： A system for producing 3D video using first and second cameras on first and second axes. The second camera has a field of view (FOV) overlapping with the first camera's FOV. The second axis is at a convergence angle relative to the first axis. A control computer changes the inter-camera distance by effectively moving the second camera laterally, and changes convergence angle by effectively rotating the second camera. The control computer automatically calculates the inter-camera distance and convergence angle based on the distance of a user to the display screen, working distance of the cameras, zoom settings, and size of the screen, and effectively moves the second camera accordingly. A keystone correction is performed to account for the camera projections, the frames are rotationally aligned, and the corrected/aligned frames are combined to produce a 3D image frame that is displayed on a 3D display screen.

摘要： Methods and apparatus is provided for use in a medical procedure for image acquisition using a high-resolution imaging system, a three dimensional imaging system and a navigation system. A 3D imaging scan of an imaged portion of the surface of the patient is acquired using the three dimensional imaging system. Then, a first high-resolution imaging scan covering a first sub-portion of the imaged portion is acquired using the high-resolution imaging system, which is tracked by the navigation system. The 3D imaging scan and the first high-resolution imaging scan are combined to create an enhanced three dimensional image having contour lines to provide a visual representation of depth derived from depth information acquired from both the three dimensional imaging system and the high-resolution imaging system. Subsequent high resolution scans may then be stitched into the image and the updated image displayed in real-time.

摘要： A surgical camera system is provided which includes a plurality of imaging devices each having a tunable iris configured to change between at least two different sized numerical apertures. A video stream is produced at a frame rate greater than or equal to about 20 frames per second from first and second images produced by respective sensors and tunable irises of at least two of the imaging devices, the tunable irises controlled to different numerical apertures, the first images acquired at a respective first numerical aperture of a first imaging device and the second images acquired at a respective second numerical aperture of a second imaging device, different from the respective first numerical aperture. The video stream alternates between the first images and the second images so that the video stream results in a three-dimensional effect at a display device when the video stream is rendered thereon.
