    摘要: A drive power transmission control device in a first embodiment is provided with an electromagnetic type drive power transmission device and an electronic control device (ECU) for controlling the application of electric current to an electromagnetic coil of the electromagnetic type drive power transmission device. The ECU is bodily provided on a casing of the electromagnetic type drive power transmission device through at least one support member 50. Thus, nonuniformity or deflection in mechanical quality of the electromagnetic type drive power transmission device and nonuniformity or deflection in electrical quality of the electronic control device can be adjusted as a whole, and the drive power transmission control device is lightened in weight. A drive power transmission control device in a second embodiment is provided with an electronic control device for controlling drive power transmitted by a drive power transmission device from a drive power source to plural wheel. The electronic control device includes a housing made of a resin and provided independently of the drive power transmission device, a temperature sensor provided inside the housing for detecting the temperature of the drive power transmission device, a bracket made of a resin and formed bodily with the housing for fixing the housing on the drive power transmission device, and a heat conduction portion provided in the bracket for conducting the heat generated in the drive power transmission device to the temperature sensor. Thus, the drive power transmission control device makes it possible to reduce a work load in attaching the temperature sensor and also makes it possible to precisely detect the temperature of lubricant oil filled in the drive power transmission device.

    摘要: An electric power steering apparatus comprises an input shaft transmitting a rotation from a steering wheel and an output shaft rotatably connected to the input shaft through a torsion bar relative to the input shaft. A drive motor is coaxially arranged relative to both of the input shaft and the output shaft. A reduction mechanism coaxially provided in a housing relative to the input and output shaft transmits a rotation of the drive motor to the output shaft so as to reduce the rotation of the drive motor at a constant reduction rate. A torque sensor detects a torque added to the torsion bar as a relative rotational displacement between the input shaft and the output shaft. The drive motor is rotationally controlled in accordance with the detected torque by the torque sensor.

When a steering shaft (20) is turned, pulse signals (SS1, SS2) are generated from an encoder (10). In response to these pulses signals (SS1, SS2), the computer (12) detects the rotational direction and angle of the steering shaft (20). When a sampling signal is generated in relation to the running of a vehicle, the computer (12) calculates a mean value of a cumulative past rotational angles and further calculates the rotational angle of the steering shaft (20) relative to a neutral position indicated by the mean value.

    摘要: An assisting power controller for a vehicle power steering device is provided with a microcomputer, which stores in a random access memory a plurality of the latest steering angle data each detected from a steering angle detector each time the vehicle runs a predetermined distance. The microprocessor processes the plurality of steering angle data to calculate a first driving index representing the road condition and then, to decide a first electric current meeting the road condition. The microprocessor also stores in the memory a plurality of the latest vehicle speed data each detected from a speed sensor each time the vehicle runs the predetermined distance. The microprocessor processes the plurality of vehicle speed data to calculate a second driving index representing the state of maneuver by the driver of the vehicle and then, to decide a second electric current meeting the state of maneuvering. The microprocessor thereafter makes an addition of the first and second electric currents and applies the added electric current to an electromagnetic flow control valve which controls the bypass communication of pressurized fluid between opposite chambers of a power cylinder, to control the assisting power generated by the power cylinder based on the road condition and the state of maneuvering by the driver of the vehicle.

    摘要: A control system for a power steering device of a vehicle, wherein the rotational angular position of a steering wheel, the vehicle driving speed and the steering torque applied to the steering wheel are detected and processed by a digital computer. The computer selects one of plural control values stored in a memory device based upon the detected steering torque and the detected vehicle speed and outputs the selected one of the control values along with solenoid selection data which is determined based upon the detected rotary angular position data. An electric current having a value corresponding to the selected one of the control values is applied from a solenoid drive circuit to one of a pair of solenoids, so that a four-way open center type solenoid valve having the solenoids controls the supply and exhaust of pressurized fluid to and away from a power cylinder of the power steering device in accordance with the detected vehicle driving speed and the detected steering torque.
