摘要： An optical disk drive of the present invention has a controller, which obtains saturation levels of a first reflected laser beam obtained by a laser beam with a playback light intensity and a second reflected laser beam obtained by a laser beam with a recording light intensity, in a signal processing circuit, based on the results of detecting the first and second reflected laser beams by a detector, computes the intensity of a recording laser beam output from a light source based on the saturation levels of the reflected laser beams specified by a signal processing means, and instructs a laser driving circuit to drive a laser driving signal capable of achieving the intensities of playback and recording laser beams based on the computation results.

摘要： Pigment dispersions for color filters are composed of pigments, dispersants, film-forming resins and liquid media. The dispersants comprises compounds represented by the following formula (I): wherein X and X′ each independently represent H, OH, alkoxy, primary, secondary or tertiary amino, or acylamino; Y represents an anthraquinonylamino, phenylamino or phenoxy group having H, OH, alkoxy, primary, secondary or tertiary amino, or acylamino at the 4-position or 5-position; A and B each independently represent alkyl, cycloalkyl or aryl, and at least one of A and B has at least one substituent group containing a basic nitrogen atom; and Z represents H, CN, halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, NO2, benzoylamino or 3-benzoyl, and the 3-benzoyl group may be fused together with X to form an acridone ring. These pigment dispersions are useful for the production of color filters.

摘要： A transparent conducting film is prepared from a composition comprising an indium compound, a tin compound, and a solvent as essential components, the tin compound being a compound represented by the following general formula:(R).sub.a Sn(NO.sub.3).sub.b (X).sub.4-a-b (1)wherein R is an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, X is a hydroxyl group, a halogen atom, or a carboxyl group, and a and b are integers of 1.about.3, and a+b.ltoreq.4 by coating a substrate with the said composition, subjecting the coated substrate to ultraviolet irradiation at a substrate temperature of 200.degree. C. or higher, and heating the substrate at 400.degree. C. or higher. The composition has a long pot life and the film has a low resistance and distinguished mechanical strength, chemical resistance and etching susceptibility.

摘要： Prostanoic acid derivatives having the formula ##STR1## wherein A represents a straight or branched alkylene group having from one to 5 carbon atoms, R.sup.1 represents a straight or branched alkyl group having from 4 to 10 carbon atoms and R.sup.2 represents hydrogen atom or a straight or branched alkyl group having from one to 6 carbon atoms and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof.The compounds are useful as oxytocic agents and agents inhibiting the secretion of gastric acid and may be prepared by oxidizing a compound having the formula ##STR2## wherein A, R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are the same as above, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are the same or different and each represents a protecting group for the hydroxyl group to give a compound having the formula ##STR3## wherein A, R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are the same as above, removing the hydroxyl-protecting group from the latter compound and, if appropriate, salifying the product thus obtained.

摘要： A base member is laid in a space portion, which is defined by an instrument panel, in a vehicle width direction over a generally entire width of the vehicle, and a plurality of ducts is integrally formed with the base member. Furthermore, a meter placing portion, on which a meter is placed, and an air bag placing portion, on which an air bas is placed, are formed on the base member, and a harness placing portion 26, on which a flat harness is placed, is also formed on the base member in the vehicle width direction. Accordingly, the base member with which the plurality of ducts is integrally formed is a separate body from the instrument panel. Even in the case where the size of the instrument panel is changed, the base member is not required to correspond to the instrument panel and, therefore, the ducts can be commonly used. Moreover, since the base member is formed with ducts each having a closed structure, in section, it has a predetermined physical strength. Since this base member is laid in the vehicle width direction over a generally entire width of the vehicle, that portion of the vehicle body where the instrument panel is arranged is increased in physical strength owing to the provision of this base member for the sake of a possible side crush or collision of the vehicle.
