    摘要: An adjustable fastener for interconnecting a first and a second part of an article includes a flat hollow sleeve having a first connecting portion for attachment to the first part, a plug having a second connecting portion for attachment to the second part, a flat body slidably received in a longitudinal guide channel in the sleeve, a locking member slidably held within a transverse guide groove in the sleeve and having a pusher head at an end thereof, and at least one locking projection releasably engageable with one of a row of teeth on the plug body for locking the plug in position against displacement, and a spring held within the sleeve for normally retaining the locking projection in locking engagement with the one tooth and keeping the pusher head to project outwardly of the sleeve. The locking member is movable along the guide groove to disengage the locking projection from the one tooth against the force of the spring when the pusher head is depressed.

    摘要: A variable thermostat-type air conditioning system for an automotive vehicle passenger compartment has a dehumidification switch. When a driver depresses the dehumidification switch the compressor begins to operate as if the temperature-adjusting lever were set to the extreme COOL end. Therefore, it is possible to dehumidify or cool the passenger compartment without adjusting the temperature-adjusting lever which is already set to an appropriate lever position. The air-conditioning system according to the present invention comprises a temperature-sensitive element, a variable resistor linked to the temperature-adjusting lever, the dehumidification switch to short the variable resistor, and a thermocontrol amplifier, in addition to a standard compressor, evaporator, etc.

    摘要: An air conditioner for an automotive vehicle having (1) a duct having at its one end an air inlet, at the upper part of its other end a ventilation outlet, and at the lower part of its other end a floor outlet linked to a defroster outlet; (2) a blower disposed at the air inlet for introducing air into the duct; (3) an evaporator disposed downstream of the duct for cooling the air introduced by the blower; (4) a heater core disposed downstream of the evaporator whose upper side is provided with a first bypass for bypassing the cooled air from the evaporator; (5) an air mixing door disposed upstream of the heater core for adjusting the amount of air passing through the heater core; (6) an air mixing chamber disposed downstream of the heater core and first bypass for mixing the air from the first bypass and heater core, the ratio of the air depending on the angle of the air mixing door; (7) a second bypass disposed between the heater core and the floor outlet for introducing part of the heated air from the heater core directly into the floor outlet; and (8) a smaller door located at the heater core for adjusting the amount of heated air passing through the second bypass, whereby the air temperature at the floor outlet is higher by a constant amount from that at the ventilation outlet.

    摘要: An intake control system comprising a mode selector which receives a first control pressure and a second control pressure, and, according to the temperature inside and outside the vehicle, adapted to supply selectively a plurality of different combinations of the first and second control pressures to a pressure activated actuator to switch an air intake system between at least an outside air position and a recirculating air position.
