    摘要: The liquid ejection head comprises: a plurality of pressure chambers connected to a plurality of nozzles from which liquid is ejected, the pressure chambers being arranged in a two-dimensional configuration; a diaphragm which constitutes a wall of each of the pressure chambers, the wall being located opposite to the nozzles; a plurality of piezoelectric elements disposed at positions corresponding to the pressure chambers on a surface of the diaphragm which is on an opposite side of the diaphragm from the pressure chambers, the piezoelectric elements causing portions of the diaphragm corresponding to the pressure chambers to deform; an intermediate plate which is located on a piezoelectric element side of the diaphragm where the piezoelectric elements are disposed and which forms a space around a periphery of each of the piezoelectric elements; electrical wires for electrically connecting drive circuits which drives the piezoelectric elements with drive electrodes of the piezoelectric elements, the electrical wires being disposed in the intermediate plate; and an ink pool section which is located across the intermediate plate from the diaphragm and which supplies the liquid to the pressure chambers.

    摘要: An image-forming device in which an image is formed on a transfer material by superposing the transfer material with a photosensitive material on a heating drum. By altering a duty ratio of a control signal from a controller to a heater driver, a heater is controlled such that surface temperature of the heating drum is fixed. At times other than during image-formation, during which precise control is required, the period of the control signal (i.e., of on/off control of the heater) is lengthened. Thus, “flicker” can be suppressed.

    摘要: A take-up device of an image forming sheet material, in which a plurality of sheet materials used for formation of images is sequentially wound, comprises: a core member formed in the shape of a cylinder and supported rotatably, the core member being provided such that the plurality of sheet materials can be wound around an outer periphery of the core member; an endless belt entrained across a plurality of rollers and moved in a circulating manner in a predetermined direction with an outer periphery of the endless belt contacting by pressure an outer periphery of the core member so as to rotate the core member and the endless belt nipping the sheet material together with the core member to sequentially wind the plurality of sheet materials around the core member; and tension maintaining means for maintaining tension of the endless belt substantially fixedly irrespective of a change of a winding diameter of the sheet material wound around the core member. Since the plurality of sheet materials are accumulated in such a manner as to be wound around the core member, even if the sheet materials having different sizes are included mixedly, these material be effectively accumulated.

    摘要: An ink jet printer has a carriage equipped with a recording head. The carriage is disposed downstream in a feeding direction of a recording medium. The carriage has an optical sensor for measuring dirt on a supply roller. When the supply roller is dirty, a cleaning operation is started to rotate the supply roller as being pressed onto a separation pad. The dirt on the supply roller is measured with the optical sensor, and the cleaning operation lasts until the dirt is removed from the supply roller.
