摘要: A water-based ink for inkjet printers contains at least a water-insoluble colorant, a block copolymer of a polyvinyl ether structure comprising at least one kind of hydrophilic segments and at least one kind of hydrophobic segments, water and an alkali. Each of the hydrophilic segments contains acidic groups. A content of the alkali is such that, when an infrared absorption intensity ascribable to ionic groups to be formed upon addition of an excess amount of the alkali to the block copolymer is supposed to be 100%, an infrared absorption intensity ascribable to ionic groups formed by dissociation of the acidic groups contained in the block copolymer becomes at least 80%, with a proviso that the content does not exceed twice as much as a smallest amount of the alkali that an infrared absorption intensity ascribable to ionic groups to be formed from the block copolymer becomes 100%.

摘要: A sheet conveying device includes: a main body; a cover; a first roller; and a second roller. The main body defines a conveying passage along which a sheet is conveyed. The cover is supported to the main body and movable between a closed position in which the cover covers the main body from above and an open position in which the cover is moved upward from the main body so as to be spaced away from the main body. The first roller is rotatably supported to the cover and configured to discharge the sheet from the conveying passage to an outside of the main body. The second roller is rotatably supported to the main body and disposed in confrontation with the first roller while interposing the conveying passage between the first roller and the second roller when the cover is at the closed position.

摘要: A controller is provided to control operations of a robot provided with a robot body having operation axes to be controlled and an additional mechanism having an additional operation axis. The controller comprises a manual operation device, determination means and control means. The manual operation device enables a user to manually operate the operations of the robot body and the additional mechanism in parallel to each other. The determination means determines whether or not the additional mechanism is a linked state in operations with the robot body. The control means controls operation speeds of both the tip end of the operation axes of the robot body and the additional operation axis of the additional mechanism within a predetermined maximum speed, when the manual operation device is used to manually control the operations of the robot body and the additional mechanism in parallel to each other and the determination means determines that the additional mechanism is in a linked state in operations with the robot body.
