In general formula (1), L1 is a direct bond or an aromatic group with a valence of 1-3 and Ar1 is an aromatic group. The two Ar1 groups linked to the same nitrogen atom may form a nitrogen heterocycle and may further form a fused ring together with the said nitrogen heterocycle.

This adaptor is formed with a base and a cover made of a resin material, a plurality of electrically conductive members fixed to the base so as to electrically contact a plurality of I/O terminals of the memory card in the adapter, and a metal shell held between the base and the cover. A memory-card storage room is provided by a space surrounded by the metal shell and the base. By use of the metal shell, it is possible to improve rigidity of the adaptor, obtain a reliable compatibility, and prevent that the thin, mini-sized memory card is damaged.

The profiler includes a wedge mounted to the piping. The wedge includes an inclined surface at which an ultrasonic transducer can be mounted. The inclination is such that the ultrasound transducer receives only the ultrasound echo from the reflection of a shear wave component off the reflectors in the fluid.
