    摘要： A contents processing device for displaying contents is enabled to change the display format of a contents displaying display unit and to display not only the contents but also other information. As problem solving means, there is proposed a contents providing system, which includes a display unit for displaying the contents and an interlocked icon interlocked with the contents in one area. Further included is a contents processing device which has a function to change the display format of the display unit in case a signal received when the interlocked icon is displayed in the display unit satisfies a predetermined condition. The contents processing device performs the change of the display format, if the interlocked icon is displayed when the contents processing device receives the signal satisfying the predetermined condition from a remote control device. In case the display format is to be changed, it is possible to perform the display in an enlarged/reduced scale but also to add a new window and to display advertising information in the new window added.
