摘要: The present invention discloses a cluster head assisted method for converting a user terminal from device-to-device (D2D) communication to cellular communication. When quality of a D2D link between a user terminal and a cluster head is lower than a predetermined threshold, if the user terminal has to leave the cluster but still expects to continue an original the service, the user terminal performs cell search and random access, and establishes a radio resource control (RRC) connection with a target base station of a cellular network. Switching from D2D communication to cellular communication is implemented with the assistance of the cluster head, and a communication manner after the switching is provided. The present invention implements mobile switching from D2D communication in distributed cluster communication to cellular communication, which can reduce route search delay and save wireless resources.

摘要: A cooling unit (10) includes a housing (12) having a front (14) and a back (16), one or more fans (28) provided at either the front (14) or the back (16) of the housing (12), and a V-shaped evaporator (30) positioned within the housing (12) and coupled to a source of liquid refrigerant. The V-shaped evaporator (30) has two panels extending from adjacent to the bottom (22) of the housing to adjacent to the top (24) of the housing (12) when positioning the evaporator (30) in the housing (12). The arrangement is such that an inside of the panels of the evaporator (30) faces air being drawn through the housing (12) of the cooling unit (10) by the fan (28).

摘要: Described embodiments provide for a memory system which power-gates a memory operating at a first clock. Control logic in the memory system activates, during a rising edge of a second clock, the memory from a sleep mode. The memory is accessed. After a cycle of the first clock, the control logic asserts a power-gating signal, thereby returning the memory to the sleep mode. The frequency of the second clock is less than a frequency of the first clock.

摘要: Various example embodiments are disclosed herein. In an example embodiment, a method of transmitting data via a wireless transmission path that may include a user equipment as a first end point, a base station as second end point, and at least one relay station as an intermediate point(s). The method may include receiving a data transmission from a prior point in the transmission path. Substantially simultaneously: forwarding the received data to the next point in the transmission path, and determining if the received data is corrupt. Transmitting a transmission message to the next point in the transmission path indicating whether or not the received data was corrupt. And, if the data is not corrupt, transmitting a receipt message to the prior point indicating that the data was uncorrupt when received.

摘要: A memory operative to provide multi-port functionality includes multiple single-port memory cells forming a first memory array. The first memory array is organized into multiple memory banks, each of the memory banks comprising a corresponding subset of the single-port memory cells. The memory further includes a second memory array including multiple multi-port memory cells and is operative to track status information of data stored in corresponding locations in the first memory array. At least one cache memory is connected with the first memory array and is operative to store data for resolving concurrent read and write access conflicts in the first memory array. The memory includes a controller operative: to receive the status information and to determine a validity of data stored in the first memory array as a function of the status information; to control a manner in which data is stored in the memory for avoiding data overflow in the cache memory; and to resolve concurrent read and write access conflicts in the first memory array during the same memory cycle.
