摘要: Provided is a method of producing a heat-resistant inorganic textile formed of a heat-resistant inorganic fiber that includes an inorganic base fiber and a heat-resistant inorganic ceramic layer that coats the inorganic base fiber, the method including the steps of: (1) subjecting an inorganic base textile formed of the inorganic base fiber to a coating treatment with a meltable silicone resin or a curable silicone composition, thereby forming a meltable silicone resin layer or curable silicone composition layer that coats the inorganic base fiber, (2) subjecting the meltable silicone resin layer to a non-melting treatment, thereby forming a non-melting silicone resin layer, or subjecting the curable silicone composition layer to curing, thereby forming a silicone cured product layer, and (3) heating the non-melting silicone resin layer or silicone cured product layer under a non-oxidizing atmosphere, at a temperature within a range from 400 to 1,500° C., thereby generating a heat-resistant inorganic ceramic layer. The method enables favorable conservation of resources and is economically beneficial. The heat-resistant inorganic textile produced by the method exhibits excellent heat resistance and strength, and is ideal as a material for an exhaust gas filter.

摘要: A card tray to be mounted to a memory card can make the memory card mountable in a card slot for memory cards conforming to standards different from those to which the memory card conforms. The card tray has a main body and a recessed mount section. The recessed mount section is formed such that the holder of a second memory card can be mounted to one of the major surfaces of the main body. A memory-card-mounted body is produced when the second memory card is mounted to the recessed mount section. The card tray is configured such that, when the first memory card is placed on the memory-card-mounted body with the left and right edges thereof aligned with each other, the contact pieces of the first memory card and the contact pieces of the second memory card have longitudinally overlapping parts and transversally overlapping parts as viewed from above.

摘要: A connector is disclosed into and from which a memory card can be inserted and removed with certainty. A slider is assembled in a slider accommodating chamber of a case body for movement among a leading end position, an intermediate position and a trailing end position. A memory card is inserted into the slider positioned at the leading end position and further pushed in to the trailing end position. Then, when the memory card is released, the slider moves to the intermediate position, at which contacts of the memory card are electrically connected to connection terminals of the connector. Then, when the memory card is pushed in, the slider is moved from the intermediate position to the trailing end position, and when the memory card is released, the slider is moved to the leading end position so as to be taken out.

摘要: An optical recording medium is provided which has a substrate and a signal recording layer provided on the substrate and in which an information signal is recorded in the form of microscopic pits. A light beam is focused on the signal recording layer and some change of the light beam carried by a return light from the signal recording layer is detected to read the information signal recorded on the signal recording layer. The optical recording medium has a diameter of 65 mm or less and thickness of 0.4 to 0.7 mm. An information signal recording area extends outwardly from a radial position of 12.5 mm or less from the center of the medium. The ratio in area between the information signal recording area and non-signal recording area is 3.4 or more. The storage capacity of this medium is 2 gigabytes or more. The optical recording medium has formed at the center thereof a center hole around which an annular table-abutment convexing to one side of the medium is formed. A magnetic-clamping hub is installed in the center hole and thus the medium is magnetically clamped to a rotation driving mechanism of an optical recording and/or reproducing apparatus. The compactness and high density of recording of the optical recording medium will contribute greatly to a further compact structure of a recording and/or reproducing apparatus in which the medium is to be used.
