摘要: A sorting conveyor apparatus of the present invention is structured such that when objects to be conveyed are respectively positioned in outlet sides of upstream sorting conveyors under a condition that the objects are positioned on each of downstream sorting conveyors, driving of the upstream sorting conveyors is stopped, such that when the objects are carried out from outlet sides of the downstream sorting conveyors, the driving of the upstream sorting conveyors are respectively restarted, such that when the objects are respectively positioned in the outlet side of each of the downstream sorting conveyors, the driving of each of the downstream sorting conveyors is stopped, and such that the driving of all the downstream sorting conveyors is synchronously restarted under a predetermined carry out condition.

摘要: A color printer according to the present invention includes a clutch means, an urging member and a positional alignment mechanism. The clutch means is used for engaging and disengaging a driving force used to move a paper holder means. The urging member (e.g., a spring) is used to urge the paper holder means in a direction opposite to the printing direction. The positional alignment mechanism is used for mechanically determining the position at which printing is to start on the paper when the paper holder means is disengaged from the driving force by the clutch means and is urged by the urging member in the direction opposite to the printing direction.

摘要: A thermal recording apparatus is provided with a recording head and a sheet of recording paper shiftable relative to each other in a direction parallel to a row of heating elements through a distance which is smaller than the pitch of the heating elements, whereby the transfer process which has in the past been completed in one step is carried out in a multiplicity of steps. Accordingly, it is possible to obtain an image of higher density than can be obtained in the prior art.

摘要: To provide an inexpensive wastewater treatment method which facilitates downsizing of tanks and requires less withdrawal of an excessive sludge, the use is made of an aeration tank 1 in which wastewater is contacted with a particulate carrier under an aerobic condition, and a total oxidization tank 3 in which the volume of a sludge generated in the aeration tank 1 is reduced under an aerobic condition, a coefficient of self-oxidization of the sludge flowing into the total oxidization tank 3 is set to 0.05 (per day), and the method includes a step of adding a coagulant to the total oxidization tank 3 for the purpose of improving the solid-liquid separating characteristic of the sludge within the total oxidization tank.

摘要: A paper transport apparatus has an inclinable feed-in tray. Documents are drawn from the feed-in tray with a feed roller operating in conjunction with a retard roller. The rollers and the feed-in tray are supported on a pivotable frame. Pivoting of the frame permits the feed-in tray to be inclined to a desired angle to facilitate feeding of documents that do not readily slide while resulting in the documents being fed to the rollers at a constant entry angle irrespective of the angle of inclination of the feed-in tray.
