A processor can receive a signal indicating a level of trash in a trash can. The processor can determine the level of trash in the trash can in response to receiving the signal. The processor can determine that the level of trash is above a threshold. The processor can activate a water valve in response to the determination that the level of trash is above the threshold.

    摘要: Systems and methods of compressing a bottle is disclosed. An example system includes a housing, gas port, and a movable platen. A compressible bottle may be mounted within the housing such that the bottle opening is in fluid communication with the gas port and such that the bottle is located between the gas port and the movable platen. A flow of a gas is provided through the gas port into the compressible bottle through the bottle opening. The movable platen is driven toward the gas port after beginning a flow of gas into the bottle, causing the compressible bottle to collapse substantially along the bottle length.

    摘要: A heating-type vacuum press device which has a small vacuum isolation chamber in which pressing is performed under vacuum without damage to seal packing, while heating. A lower fixed frame and an upper movement frame constitute a wall portion of the isolation chamber. A gas-tight sliding mechanism ensures gas-tightness between the lower fixed frame and the upper movement frame. Thereby, the isolation chamber is formed in a space defined by the lower fixed frame, the upper movement frame, a base and a fitting plate. The lower fixed frame surrounds a receiving table equipped with a heater for a workpiece, and is arranged on the base such that the lower fixed frame is spaced from the receiving table. The upper movement frame is hanged from the fitting plate such that the upper movement frame is spaced from a pressing plate equipped with a heater, and surrounds the pressing plate. The isolation chamber is sucked to vacuum, and a workpiece on the receiving plate is pressed under heating and vacuum at a high temperature with a low thrusting force by descending the pressing plate. The present apparatus is suitable for bonding multi-functional laminated films having high heat-resistant temperature.

    摘要: A door is made from a rigid core plate, two side bars, two end bars, a pair of face panels, and a pair of cover sheets. The core plate and bars are cut to respective sizes, and then the bars are manually fitted around the core plate, are pressed against edges of the core plate to form a door core, and are secured together at corners of the core. This core is displaced on an upstream core conveyor to a core-holding station. One of the face panels is loaded manually onto a face-panel conveyor and fed thereby through a glue applicator to a face-panel holding station and one of the cover sheets is manually set in a cover-sheet holding station. The one cover sheet is picked up and laid in a stacking station, then the one face panel is picked up and set atop the one cover sheet, and then the core is picked up and set atop the face panel. The other face panel is manually loaded onto the face-panel conveyor and is fed thereby through the glue applicator to the face-panel holding station and the other cover sheet is manually set in the cover-sheet holding station. Then the other face panel is picked up and laid in the stacking station atop the core plate and the other cover sheet is picked up and laid atop the other face panel. Finally the stack in the transfer station is transferred into a press.

    摘要: A stacked paper fastener having a pair of prongs which may be passed through a pair of holes in a top piece and affixed to the top piece to hold the stacked papers together. The fastener is preferably entirely made of plastic with no sharp edges so that it cannot readily cut a user. Each prong has notches in the outer surface which, when the prongs are passed through a ratchet member, may be pulled tight around the stack of papers. The ratchet member securely holds the stack of papers together until purposely released. The ratchet members have releases which are easily manipulated from above the top piece so that the top piece can be easily removed to add more papers to the stack or to disassemble the stack of papers.

    摘要: A platen press has upper and lower platens each provided with at least one rigidifying beam. A group of hydraulic cylinders spaced about over one of the platens serves to urge the two platens together in a pressing direction to compress a workpiece--plywood, fiber mat, chipboard, or the like--between the platens. During pressing the platens and their rigidifying beams bend somewhat. This bending is measured by an apparatus which comprises a flexible strand, holders at the ends of the one beam for gripping the ends of the strand and holding same straight and under tension, and sensors fixed on the one beam at a location between the ends of the one beam for measuring the displacement of the strand relative to the beam at the location during pressing. This sensor lies wholly out of physical contact with the strand.
