Abstract:
A method of upregulating an anti-inflammatory response in a central nervous system (CNS) of a subject in need thereof is disclosed. The method comprising locally administering to the CNS of the subject a therapeutically effective amount of IFN-beta, thereby upregulating the anti-inflammatory response in the CNS of the subject. Methods of treating an inflammation in a CNS or treating a disease, disorder, condition or injury of a CNS of a subject are also disclosed.
Abstract:
A method of analyzing DNA which, in a cell, is bound to a DNA binding moiety, the method comprising: (a) obtaining at least two samples of complexes of DNA bound to a DNA binding moiety; (b) isolating the complexes on a solid support; (c) labeling the DNA of the complexes, wherein the labeling distinguishes between the complexes of the first of the at least two samples and the complexes of the second of the at least two samples; (d) pooling the at least two samples of complexes; and (e) isolating the complexes using an agent which specifically binds to the DNA binding moiety; and (f) analyzing the DNA of the complexes.
Abstract:
A multispecific antibody is provided. The antibody comprises a first antigen binding moiety, which specifically binds to an immune checkpoint protein on intratumor T cells and a second antigen binding moiety which specifically binds to a conventional dendritic cell 1 (cDC1). Also provided are uses of such antibodies in cancer treatment.
Abstract:
A method of prognosing a subject diagnosed with multiple myeloma (MM) is provided. Also provided a method of treating a subject diagnosed with MM selected expressing intracellular PPIA and/or RRM2 above a predetermined threshold, the method comprising administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of at least one agent which specifically down-regulates activity or expression of PPIA and/or RRM2, thereby treating the subject.
Abstract:
A method of treating or preventing a disease associated with a secondary infection in a subject infected with a pathogen is provided. The method comprises administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of an anti-pathogenic agent directed towards the pathogen and a therapeutically effective amount of an agent which down-regulates at least one extracellular matrix-associated polypeptide.
Abstract:
An expression construct is disclosed which comprises: (i) a DNA sequence which encodes at least one guide RNA (gRNA) operatively linked to a transcriptional regulatory sequence so as to allow expression of the gRNA in a target cell; (ii) a barcode sequence for identification of the at least one gRNA operatively linked to a transcriptional regulatory sequence so as to allow expression of the barcode sequence in the target cell.
