    摘要: A multi-domain liquid crystal display includes a plurality of first and second picture elements and a plurality of first and second auxiliary electrodes. The first and second picture elements have opposite polarities under the same frame of an inversion drive scheme. The first auxiliary electrodes are connected to the first picture elements and at least partially surround each of the second picture elements, and the second auxiliary electrodes are connected to the second picture elements and at least partially surround each of the first picture elements.

    摘要: A liquid crystal display (LCD) panel including a first substrate, a second substrate and a liquid crystal layer is provided. The first substrate includes a signal line, an insulating layer and a pixel electrode. The insulating layer is disposed between the signal line and the pixel electrode. The pixel electrode partly overlaps the signal line. The second substrate is parallel to the first substrate. The liquid crystal layer is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. When a cross-voltage is applied to the signal line and the pixel electrode, a fringe vertical field having different directions is formed on the peripheral of the partly overlapped area between the signal line and the pixel electrode, such that the liquid crystal layer produces at least one transition nucleus area according to the fringe vertical field.

    摘要: A micro-reflective liquid crystal display including an upper polarizing plate, an upper substrate having transparent electrode, a color light-filtering plate, a liquid crystal layer, an inner polarizing film, a lower substrate having transparent electrode, driving cell and storage capacitor, a lower polarizing plate and a backlight source. The inner polarizing film is deposited on one face of the lower substrate adjacent to the liquid crystal layer. The color light-filtering plate is formed with an opening corresponding to the storage capacitor, whereby external light can go in through the opening. The upper metal layer of the storage capacitor forms a reflective region for reflecting the external light to serve as a light source for the liquid crystal display. Accordingly, when exposed to outdoor sunlight, the micro-reflective liquid crystal display can still present a clear image.

    摘要: An exemplary strap for a portable device includes a hollow ring portion, two elastic members, two connecting strings, two blocks, and a strap attachment coupled to the connecting strings. The ring portion includes at least one restraint with a through hole defined therein. The elastic members are fixed within the ring portion. The connecting strings are coupled to the elastic members respectively, pass through the through hole and stretch out of the ring portion. The blocks are positioned respectively at joints of the elastic members and the connecting strings, and restrained within the ring portion by the at least one restraint for preventing the elastic members from being excessively stretched.

    摘要: A FFS semi-transmissive LCD comprises a first substrate and pixel matrix. The pixel matrix is disposed on the first substrate and comprises a plurality of pixel units. Each pixel unit comprises a counter electrode, pixel electrode layer, reflection layer and liquid-crystal disposition layer. The counter electrode is disposed on the first substrate. The pixel electrode layer is disposed above the counter electrode. The reflection layer is disposed between the first substrate and pixel electrode layer. The reflection layer is smaller than the counter electrode in area. The liquid-crystal disposition layer is disposed on the pixel electrode layer and comprises a transparent material layer. The transparent material layer is smaller than the liquid-crystal disposition layer in thickness and has substantially the same shape and area as the reflection layer, and the transparent material layer and the reflection layer are face-to-face disposed at two opposite sides of the pixel electrode layer.
