    摘要: In a scroll compressor, a stationary scroll is pressed toward a movable scroll by a back pressure of a discharge fluid compressed by a compression mechanism, and wear powder, produced from an annular seal (which receives the pressure of the discharge fluid) as a result of precession of the stationary scroll, is arrested, thereby achieving the scroll compressor high in efficiency and reliability. A pressure-receiving surface for receiving a back pressure of the discharge fluid so as to press the stationary scroll toward the movable scroll is formed on that portion of the stationary scroll disposed around a communication port which is formed in the stationary scroll, and communicates with a discharge port. An annular seal is provided to form a seal between the stationary scroll and an upper frame around a region of communication between the communication port and the discharge port in such a manner as to satisfy a necessary annular sealing surface area, and a circumferential recess is provided on that side lower in pressure than this annular seal.

    摘要: It is an object of the present invention to reduce the constraint that the density ratio is constant as small as possible, and to obtain high power recovering effect in a wide operation range by using an expander which is operated in accordance with a flowing direction of refrigerant. An expander used in a refrigeration cycle uses carbon dioxide as refrigerant and has a compressor, an outdoor heat exchanger and an indoor heat exchanger. The expander comprises a cylindrical cylinder, a rotor which rotates in the cylinder, a vane which divides an expansion space formed between an inner peripheral surface of the cylinder and an outer peripheral surface of the rotor into a plurality of spaces, and a vane groove provided in the rotor for accommodating the vane therein. The vane groove is provided with a back pressure chamber which pushes the vane against the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder, and the refrigerant in the supercritical state is introduced into the back pressure chamber.

    摘要: A scroll compressor employs therein a refrigerant having a small global warming potential and a small ozone depletion potential and mainly comprising hydrofluoroolefin having a carbon-carbon double bond. A stationary scroll has and end plate and a discharge port defined in the end plate at a central portion thereof so as to open into a discharge chamber. The stationary scroll also has a bypass hole defined in the end plate to allow a plurality of compression chambers to communicate with the discharge chamber before the compression chambers communicate with the discharge port. A check valve is provided on the bypass hole to allow the refrigerant to flow from the compression chambers to the discharge chamber. This construction can restrain a baneful influence on the global environment, reduce a temperature increase caused by excessive compression, and restrain decomposition of the refrigerant even in long-term use.
