    摘要: A throttle body 12 is connected to a rear portion of a cylinder head 10 of an air-cooled engine 5, and a fuel pump 23 is disposed in front of the engine 5. The fuel pump 23 is such as to be disposed below a fuel tank 6 in such a manner as to be separated therefrom and to be integrated with an auxiliary tank. Fuel is sent under pressure from the fuel pump 23 to the throttle body 12 via a fuel feed tube 13, and surplus fuel is returned to the integrated auxiliary tank, consequently, no piping for return fuel being required. Vapor generated in the fuel pump 23 returns to a space above a fuel level resulting when the fuel tank 6 is filled up via an exclusive return tube 25 and is, therefore, prevented from mixing into fuel.

    摘要: A fuel tank includes fuel pipes which are configured to resist bubble disruption of the fuel pump, minimizing the risk of fuel running out when the tank level becomes low. The fuel tank includes a fuel tank body with a fuel feed conduit operatively attached thereto, for feeding fuel to a fuel injection system. The fuel feed conduit has a pickup inlet which opens into the fuel tank body, allowing fuel to be drawn outwardly by a fuel pump of the fuel injection system. The fuel tank also includes a fuel return conduit with a return port inside the fuel tank body, for returning unused fuel therethrough to the fuel tank body. The return port of the fuel return conduit is directed toward the pickup inlet of the fuel feed conduit. The fuel feed and return conduits may be fixed to the fuel tank body using a plate-shaped member.

    摘要: A body frame structure for a four-wheeled buggy which is constructed by separately preparing the front sub-assembly and the rear sub-assembly and fastening the rear sub-assembly to the front sub-assembly. The front sub-assembly is composed of a pair of sub-assembly parts each of which is formed as an approximate loop shape including a main frame, a front down frame, a lower frame, and a center frame. Rear ends of the main frames are welded to upper ends of the center frames via a cross pipe. Brackets are provided on upper portions of the center frames in such a manner as to extend upwardly therefrom. Upper fastening portions provided at front ends of seat rails constituting part of the rear sub-assembly are fastened to mounting holes formed in the brackets. Stays are provided on lower portions of the center frames, and lower fastening portions provided at front ends of right and left back stays are fastened to the stays. With this configuration, since the stays and the brackets are provided on the same members, that is, the center frames, even if the front sub-assembly is previously constructed by welding, it is possible to prevent deviation in dimensional accuracy of portions of the front sub-assembly 1 to which the rear sub-assembly 2 is to be fastened.
