Abstract:
A protection feature is disclosed for a self powered protection relay having, for example, sensitive earth fault protection. Protection can be achieved in tandem with optimal power on trip time and with integrated logic for inrush discrimination. The self supplied protection relay can include a current processing module to measure and evaluate line current to generate a trip signal, and to suppress inrush current to block earth fault detection during an inrush condition and thereby increase sensitivity of fault detection.

The data presenting device includes a communication interface, a camera having a field of view in which images are captured, a projector having a presentation area in which presentation items may be presented, and a control unit which receives field of view control commands a command to project a presentation item in the presentation area, controls the field of view of the camera and controls the projector to project the presentation item in the presentation area, wherein the control of the projection in the presentation area is made independently of the control of the field of view.
Abstract:
An industrial robot includes first and second kinematic chains configured to transmit the movements of corresponding first and second actuators to respective movements of an end effector. The first kinematic chain includes a first rod which is stiff. The second kinematic chain includes elements between the second actuator and the first rod such that the actuation of the second actuator causes bending forces on the first rod. The first and second kinematic chains thereby have the first rod as a common element, which improves compactness and accessibility of the robot. This improvement assumes that the robot is provided with one or more stiff rods that can bear the bending forces resulting from the actuation of the corresponding actuators.

A power cable assembly device adapted to be arranged in the spaces between neighbouring power cores of a power cable, includes a profiled body made of a polymer material and adapted to the cross-sectional shape and elongation of the power cable, said profiled body including a chamber and a slit to the chamber, the chamber being adapted to receive a fibre optic cable via the slit. The profiled body is provided with a pair of transitions converging towards the slit, the transitions being adapted to supportingly receive a fibre optic cable to be introduced through the slit.
Abstract:
A circuit breaking arrangement is disclosed, which is adapted to be coupled to a transmission line arranged to carry direct current for controllably effecting discontinuation of flow of direct current in the transmission line. The circuit breaking arrangement includes a current interrupter unit adapted to, when actuated, interrupt current in the transmission line and a first resonance circuit and at least a second resonance circuit. Each of the first and the at least a second resonance circuit is adapted to, upon actuation of the current interrupter unit and when the respective resonance circuit is activated, generate a resonance current superposing current of any arc generated in the current interrupter unit after actuation thereof. At least during a predefined period immediately after actuation of the current interrupter unit a resonance current that has been generated by the first resonance circuit flows into the current interrupter unit from a different direction than a resonance current generated by the second resonance circuit would have, or vice versa.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method, searching arrangement and a computer program product for searching for process control objects in a process control system (10). A searching unit (22; 38) providing a search function receives, from a user, a first search term regarding process control objects in the process control system, obtains the position of the user in the process control system, searches for process control objects using the first search term, and presents the results of the search, where the presented results depend on the user position.
